Hey everyone,
so I was going to do a website solely on remedies for acne. However, after last nights class in web development I want to take a different direction. I want to start a website that pretty focuses on starting your own website/why others should consider the idea of creating their own website.
Incorporating getting involved with affiliate marketing, network marketing, and just internet marketing in general. I was thinking of keywords around the central idea of "setting up a website" although that term is very broad and already taken.
My question is, who would my target market specificly be? I will be selling products in relation to web development and probably a whole array of books and such. I'm still trying to think of ideas. If you could throw something at me give it a shot

Target market would be, people looking for web development. I suggest you head to a keyword tool and search web development and see what it comes up with. That should get your creative juices flowing

I agree with the keyword suggestion. The data from just website development will be general.
Are you attempting to work with a specific niche group?
You may want to search for something like this as an example " web development for landscaping "

Hi Theodore,
First I would suggest you go to google and search web development for example and click Wonder Wheel on the left side of that page and you will be given some keyword that is related to your seed keyword.
Check the competition and the number of search traffic for that keyword and try to establish yourself on niche market. Don't compete with the big boys instead target those with low competition but has the higher number of SEOTraffic.
If you are just starting out, don't compete higher than 100,000 to 300,000. Also a good keyword at least has 80-100 SEOTraffic daily.
You can check stats using the adwords keyword tool. If you want more than that wherein you will know lets say how much money can you earn with that keyword, or are people searching on those keywords are just surfers or BUYERS, then I highly recommend Market Samurai.
Hope this helps.

To be honest with you, I'm giving another thought on who I want to target. I'm reading several books about network marketing and I feel theres a lot that has come to mind as far as an audience I would like to go after. I will let you know what my thoughts are eventually. Thank you all for the input you have shared with me.
