posting an image on craigslist
This may be a silly question, but I am really having trouble here. I want to upload an image ad to Craigslist and cannot find any way to do so. Is there some secret or special button or what? I know you can add images because I see them all the time. What am I doing wrong? Thanks in advance for any help.

Hi Shirley I think that your easiest way to find out things like this is to just go on to Youtube and ask. In this particular case just type in 'putting an image on to craigslist' and see what they come up with, good luck, regards Jim T.

Jim T --
Thank you so much for the help. That is exactly what I did and I found out exactly how to do it.
It was more involved than I thought originally, but entirely doable. Thanks again for taking the time to reply to my query.

This is a great training on Craigslist on marketing your primary opportunity and it is not my website:

I have used craigslistadtracker.com mentioned in the video and I love the tracking service.

Re: posting an image on craigslist
David,
Thank you for the response. I was on a call this past week and heard about that site. I just had not gotten around to checking it out yet, but since you told me the training is there I think I had better get busy. I thought seriously about the Craigslist ad tracker, but the cost is too much for me right this minute. I hope next month to be able to get it going.
It's great to be able to post image ads, because you can post them anywhere on Craigslist without getting ghosted. I love that.
Thanks again for the help.

Re: posting an image on craigslist
I love Craigslistadtracker, it helps a lot with posting on Craigslist and other online classifieds. It is also great using it just as a tacker for your links to see how many clicks and views your links get.
Images do help you ad from not getting ghosted, but I have had image ads still get ghosted on Craigslist. Not exactly sure why it was ghosted. It was after they asked for a re-verification of my phone number to post an ad. I had to use a different number from what I initially used to verify my account. That maybe the reason.
The following is just my advice on using Craigslist:
Be very careful with the number of times you post ads on Craigslist. I go very conservative, usually just once every two days for each account I have. I always delete my old ad first. I tend to stay fairly close to my location. Craigslist does record IP addresses and it may raise some red flags if they notice you posting in cities far away from your city. It is against Craigslist's rules to post MLM in the jobs section (I still post there though
). I find it interesting that Craigslist takes a very harsh stance against affiliate and MLM marketing, but it took the government to get involved for them to do away with their escort ad section they had.
Once your account is put on hold, it is gone. If you email them, you just get a automatic email restating their rules. In addition, any phone number associated with that account cannot be re-used for another email address.
If you have multiple accounts, it is best to clear your cookies use something like Chrome Incognito or Firefox Private Browsing when you log-in to your account. If you are going to post in more than two accounts, allow sometime to pass before posting in both accounts.
Craigslist use a lot of ways to detect someone breaking their rules. One of their big ones is posting in multiple cities and over posting. It may be worth to post for a few weeks, then take a few weeks or days off from posting. Or just sporadically posting, once or twice a week following no set pattern.
Normally, I can get 4-5 leads for each posting on Craigslist. I create a form in Craigsistadtracker for them to fill out after clicking on my ad from Craigslist. Then I have about 8 questions about job experience. I do not mention nothing about my company or product in the ad, just benefits of owning a business. I do my best to indict that what I am offering is not a "trading time for money type of job". I always list the compensation section as commission.
I do get some unemployed people looking for just a job replying, but I have also got a response from professional people like lawyers, mortgage brokers, doctors, and small business owners. Highly qualified leads, just a matter of them deciding of what I am offering is a good fit for them.
