hey forum,
just wondering if anyone has an idea how i can track which of my google ppc clicks result in some type of action?
in other words if i want to track which keywords have a higher % signup rate on my capture page versus keywords with a lower % signup on the same capture page....
obviously this is to see which keywords cost money and deliver no list building value
is there even such a thing or possibility to track this, and if so, how do i do it?
regards,
marius

Marius,
Do you have your Adwords campaign connected to your Google Analytics account? This is a perfect marriage when you have both connected. You can tell the percentage of users that come to your website based off of each keyword that you have in your Google Analytics account. Also, with Google Analytics tied in you can drill down into that keyword and into the campaign and also into the ad group if you are Split testing with different ad groups.
You should be able to determine which ad in that ad group is serving the most pages and fielding the most clicks. Are you split testing?
