When I added a text widget for google adsense to the sidebar it messed up my footer by shifting it, my background is now 2 shaded, and it moved the links at the bottom of page to the side of my page. My website is [LINK REMOVED BY SUPPORT] Please use your signature for links to your website.
I simply want to get my html code back to where it was before this text widget was added. I'm not sure why my blog wouldn't simply return back to how it was before adding the widget but this has been frustrating as I was just starting to get some traction with my blog in starting to create content.
Thank you for any help fellow networkers.

Hey Kirk,
I might be wrong but it looks like you might have fixed your problem. Everything seems to be in line and looking good with your footer links. Let me know if I missed something and I'll try and help

Re: Wordpress Blog
I don't recommend adsense on a blog unless you have THOUSANDS of readers.
It isn't worth $5 a month in adsense clicks. It slows your site down. It makes your site look spammy.
You won't get return visitors if you have adsense on your site.
Not to mention if you want to make money from adsense simply putting the ads on your site won't work. You need to get readers, you need to make your ads fit into the site so you get some accidental clicks, etc.

I have to echo what Ben says, unless your blog has a very high-level of traffic, the amount of money you'll be making off of your page via AdSense should be secondary to the true goal of your blog: to build relationships that translate to sales or prospects interested in your opportunity, by providing compelling content and information that your site's visitors are innately looking for.

Re: Wordpress Blog
In terms of adsense....depends on what kinds of keywords you are targeting for your content for your pages.
If you step outside the MLM niche, there are keywords that generate 10,20,30 or more $$ per click, and about 1/2 that for the content publisher.... in that case, not necessary to have thousands of readers each day to generate a bit of extra $$.

Hi Kirk, I guess you fixed your problem. I checked your website that really looks good. The signature is a nice touch. Good luck.

Re: Wordpress Blog
Hey Kirk,
I looked at your blog. You may want to use this plugin for highlighting your code on the front of your site. It is a great tool for highlighting the text for your readers to understand easily. The plugin is WP-Syntax. The URL is http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wp-syntax/

Hi Kirk
I don't see a problem with your blog footer, but in the header there's an image that doesn't load.
I saw the ads and maybe you should rething if it's worth it, I went to the blog and ther first thing I saw was a link to a list of the best MLM companies. I thought you had made a review but the link was an ad.
When I went back I saw the text Ads By Google by the menu. You're giving the reader something to catch his attention and take him away from your blog!!
