wordpress page problem
I tried setting up a new page to add different content to my website. When I added it and wrote a little test, I found that my old page had exactly the same stuff and all my old blogs were gone. How do I disconnect the two pages?

I'm not sure what you're talking about but when you add a new page it is to your current blog - I think your old blog posts aren't gone but simply in the blog section of your site.

Hey Boyd,
Are you editing the "Page" Template in your theme editor or are you editing the "Index" Template?
Usually when you are only trying to change the "look" of a wordpress site, you'll only need to edit the header, footer and main content. Those edits are usually made to background images linked in your theme's stylesheet.
OR... are you simply moving to a new theme?
If you can fill us in with more info about what you are specifically working on, we may be in a better position to help you.
There is always the possibility that you goofed something in the stylesheet if that's what you are editing.
Disappearing content is usually a result of an unclosed HTML tag, but that should only be the case if you are using a page with custom HTML (ie. squeeze page not generated by wordpress).
Get back to us,
Steve
