Hey Guys,
Shane here... As a few of you know, I've been building a website for my wife Horse Blog
Well, recently I decided to let my ADD kick in, and bring me out of my focus for a little bit. In my wanderings, I found SEONetworker.com made by Ferny and Ray.
Let me just say, these guys kick ass. They do, what I do, only a little better. They take SEO and make it super simple. Only thing is, I think they focus on it a whole lot more than I do. Which is good.. No, forget that, it's GREAT.
SEO is one of the most important factors to being online. If you can't find a website, what good is it?
Well, because of this paraphrasing of an audio found on their site "A book with 1000 pages, that all have the same content is pretty useless, but a 1000 page book with similiar content that links together to create a story - now that's a book. And Google (the librarian) will probably advocate that book a whole lot more." ...because of that quote, I have completely revamped my site, I bought the flexx theme and have gone into heavy duty work.
These boys have inspired me to go from #5 on google to #1 for several terms.
If you haven't checked them out, I'd seriously suggest it. Go to www.SEONetworker.com today!
I'd like to talk with anyone else who has been taking the principles from this site as well, like to pick your brain, and see if we can't create a powerful conglomerate! lol.

Hey, I want to win too! LOL.
Shane, I haven't checked out the site yet, but I am a member of the Trafficology Newsletter by Nitro Marketing and had a chance to hear from Ferny and Mike Dillard for the first time this month, which is how I ended up here.
(Ferny, thanks for some great content.)
I will definitely go check it out. But while I'm here, Shane, I just wanted to give you a couple hints that have helped me in my SEO thus far.
You probably already know about the Wordpress plugins, All-In-One-SEO, permalinks, and jaded-coder-sticky, but my real secret weapon is Unique Article Wizard.
It's a web-based software that lets you submit thousands of articles across the web with unique variations. You submit three different variations and then it "spins" them for you and submits them. That's one great tool. Of course each article gives you a one-way link back to your site which really helps your ranking.
Another good strategy is to get your keyword in your URL if possible. That has been one of the most instrumental tactics in producing SEO results for me. Both of my sites got ranked in the top three of Google in less than two weeks, with my main keyword as the URL. On one site even before I had any content up!
And my last battle-tested tactic is using Odesk for outsourcing. I have a team of hired guns doing many of the monotonous day to day stuff for me, for less than $3/hr. Backlinks, social bookmarking, press release submissions, directory submissions, etc.
Hope that helps, and for anyone else that might read this, don't be afraid to share your good stuff. You reap what you sow.
