This is a really tough example to give. The guy is complaining about lack of time for his family and then you are going to offer to talk to him about something that is going to take more time away from his family!

In that kind of scenario I would make darn sure the guy is making money real quick or you are just going to have another disgruntled former network marketer out there.

Don't touch that one unless you really do have the method/system/comp plan that has worked for you which is going to put cash in his jeans sooner than soon.

One definitely has to be relaxed around others. If someone does not pick up something immediately it does not mean that it will never happen because you never know what goes on in someones life. One has to listen without being judgemental.

Did I miss the point Lawrence? I understood it that you have a prospect who is complaining he has no time for his family. Right? My suggestion back to you is that you should have something in place that is going to put money in his jeans fairly quickly or you're just compounding his problem. In my experience a guy who wants more time now isn't going to wait the typical and very common 3 - 5 years before he even figures out how to make money online. (Some haven't even figured it out after that length of time)

So if you offer him a solution that doesn't solve his problem quickly you are going to have a disgruntled downline who won't stick around. The solution you offer has to meet his expectations.

The question then becomes can you fulfill the promise you made by offering a solution that really provides the solution he needs. That's not judgmental, Lawrence, that's caring (and good sales practices).
