Today I recieved an email that had a person on it telling a story of doom and gloom, and what made it even worse was while telling the story the story teller kept on laughing as if it is all a big game.

I admit that after watching some of the video I was quite distressed but then I suppose that was the intention of the speaker....to cause distress and fear....

Now I will be the first to acknowledge that the person in question is not involved with any Network marketing companies at the moment (even though they sell books to others explaing how they should do it).

At the moment one of the top selling items on Clickbank is a monthly subscripton that explains the pending doom of the world in 2012. Please tell me why if a person truely had that knowledge that they would enjoy
benefiting from the financial misfortunes of others? because I would assume that many people subscribing to this information (which at the end of the day is only information gleaned from the internet anyway) ...... If the author truely believed his information to be correct while not just write a good honest blog?....

Back to the case in question...todays email:
Were I to subscribe to todays email it would cost me about $1000 a year and to recieve that amount in interest I would need to invest over $10,000 a year at 10% interest....

If this person really believes that real money is such a waste of time then why do they keep on asking other people for theirs?....Yes I do believe that maybe your predictions are quite possibly vadid, but please stop playing on the misfortunes of others, their is enough doom and gloom in the world already without you feeding off of it as well...

Hi Jim,
there are always doom mongers trying to save
you by taking all your money off you in the process.
I think they train them for the new batman film,
then when they don't get the part thet are left
to harrass us instead!!

I agree Jim. There is too much doom and gloom in the world. We need more positive stories and ways to improve on the financial situation instead. If its in the title, I don't even open up the message. I believe there is more than enough to go around for all of us. If only everyone can see it and believe it, then we can all achieve it. For the first time ever on this site I have received more emails regarding my posting than have actually appeared on here. I do appreciate that some people wish to remain invisible but I should just like to show a couple of comments from one of them….
This was from the first email (this person said that they had not seen my post)...

First Comment

I remember when it first came out last December and I was annoyed
as hell at all the DOOM AND GLOOM crap people were screaming
to "in my opinion" MAKE A BUCK.

Second Comment

But here is my question...
1) could you get 3 people so that yours is FREE?

Now this is me again…….
That second item seems to remind me of what we used to refer to as a ‘chain letter’ do you remember them? I get three and you get three and then we all get rich? Well they never worked did they?
Yes we know of the most recent Ponzi scam but of course one of the main differences with this is that with Bernie Madoff people were under the impression that their money was safe, in this venture you are clearly told that your money will never be refunded.

I am not naive. I was in New Zealand three years ago getting ready to deposit quite a large amount of cash into the bank but I was told at the last moment that the Queen had withdrawn her guarantee, so yes I saw these problems approaching, but if I could help my fellow man it would be done freely and without cost, not by utilizing a chain letter.

I suggest to those using this approach that you read the story of the Good Samaritian in the Bible ……and no I am not a religious person but would you really only help your fellow man in return for money?

It is odd with so many emails daily that the very one to get your attention has to be a negative one. Most any other type of ad would not grab your attention to be read until something different comes along.
Such messages as: 'your check did not clear' is something that you would read first. It grabs your attention only to find out that it was an advertisement to get you in to buy something.
The whole idea of these emails is for you to read them first and maybe respond. Don't let them upset you.

OK well you asked for it. There was also videos with this email ...plus I seem to be getting more from this source every day. This is what I was refering to in my sarcastic comment about The Betternetworker Propecies.... and yes they do come from the originator (and I believe the owner still) of this forum, so to replicate my question what is the use of mlm if this is our destinys? regards jim T.
