[Jim Ticehurst Contribution Level: 4]

Hi all, sometimes I want to use an arrow or something similair to point out something on either a webpage that I have either just created or copied but I don't know how to put one on the page without disturbing the rest of the text or images.

I often see these type of 'pointers' on tutorials and that sort of thing but I don't know how to do it, is there anyone on here that could 'point' me (excuse the pun) in the right direction?

Jim,

One of the ways to accomplish this is to use tables. Another way is to create an image and photoshop it. If you do that, it will be a much slower loading site.

Thanks for the input Michael much appreciated. As you can see if you click on the link below and scroll down there is no time taken up and the text boxes that I am refering to have arrows pointed to them.

If anyone else has any observations on this I would really appreciate it, I just think that It looks really nice, thanks again Michael, regards Jim T

Jim,

Your site looks great! I must be missing something. The only other thing I could suggest, at this point, it to find someone on the net who has what you want and click on "View Source" and see how they did it.
