last week a company that I sell for as an affiliate sent me an 8 page tutorial-ebook explaining all the things that I am going to need to do if I wish to continue being 'found' on Google, and it really did take a bit of reading.....in fact I could see that many of their demands are not only difficult to fulfill but absolutely impossible. Things such as 'how long have I owed the domain' and stuff like that.
On Saturday I acquired another domain name through Godaddy and as a part of their 'thank-you' package there was an offer to purchase an add on plan for $35.88 a year to improve my 'search engine visibility' they claimed that they could "Easily optimize your site for google, yahoo and other top search engines" (their words not mine).
Considering how many companies/sellers are already competeing to get on the front page of Google I seriously reckon that it is time to start maybe reverting to the 'old ways' but with the use of the computer as a wonderful aid, and nothing more.
MLM marketing has been around a long while, many years before Google or computers even existed. This constant battle to get on the front page of Google is getting, to put it bluntly, rather pathetic. Why struggle to get in touch with people on the other side of the world when there are people within walking distace of where you live.....anyway I guess that there is plenty of room for both...
One of the top people in marketing (Adam Chandler) made a very well recieved two word comment about Google a few years back when he said **** Google (I forget what the first word was now) but the comment has the same signifigance now as it had then ....altogether now.....**** Google......

Jim - Thank you for your perspective on the Google debate. As I still have a JOB, and as it is in catering, the hours are long and varied, the old fashioned way is challenging. The hours I have to invest in my business require that I maximize my contacts and as such, I believe, are better put to use on learning how the system works, and then work the system to the best of my advantage.
I, for one, love Google, also Facebook, Twitter, BetterNetworker, et al, and when they make changes I learn, adapt and rise to the occasion. When I do I then have the opportunity to share that new found knowledge, and I love to assist others in saving them valuable time and in building their business(es).

Wow eight pages? I am concerned now.....
It's easy to get found.
1. post content with your keyword that you diligently researched.
2. get that content syndicated.
Bottom line...first page of Google. It really isn't that hard. I think companies are trying to make you think it's harder than what it TRULY is to make money off of you.
It's really not rocket science.

Sounds like you are not getting anywhere on Google. You must be getting frustrated with that site. Fear not as you are not alone. I stopped using Google a year ago. They are sending me discount packages to get back in my campaigns. They must really miss my money.
We all have a voice to use it as we please. If you are not satisfied with something, don't use them. I teach people that they do not have to put up with poor service, low quality merchandise from their local stores. Don't shop there. Don't send your money there. Enough people would see this and do the same to make a change in their local store policy. Large department stores are competition to the local stores because they can provide better service to its customers. Some large establishments are forgetting the service end and losing business to smaller businesses who can provide a better service.

Hi Jim,
there are lot of people at present promising
to put you on the first page of google,
It is a marketing ploy to take your money
away.It takes time and research to master any
medium, however as the great man Jim Rohn
said "everything is learnable"
If you are not happy with google pick another
medium you now have plenty of choice.
All the best Brian
