Yep, I did it right in the middle of traffic too. I was in denial because my gas gauge said I had gas. It was so embarassing and nobody *really* believed me that my gas gauge was faulty. That was the last time as I do not let me my tank get that low anymore!

Embarressingly last night !!

I was so busy chatting to my little boy about christmas plays, homework etc that I simply forgot and must have driven by at least 3 stations. I managed to get into the area of the petrol station and about 5 metres away from the pumps, the car died.
However before I had chance to do anything a very kind man came straight over and pushed my car to a petrol pump. I didn't have to say a word, this must have been the "Law of Attraction" working I guess?!
What did I learn about this little experience - stay aware and stay focussed!
Kind Regard,
Jayne

I always test how far I could go once the low fuel light comes on.
I always reset the tripmeter back to see how far that amount of fuel will take me.
Checking the gas gauge before starting and see who drove it last!

Hi mlsanders!

Unfortunately, our gas gauge is broken and so I've been guestimating it by the trip meter for soooo long now. I just TOTALLY forgot that the last gas up I did wasn't as much as I usually have to. And so the experience... hehehe

glad you got saved,it would be a wise decision

With the tasor phone does this mean you can zap
cold callers/

Hi Brian! I'm definitely going to have something for roadside issues soon. The company I'm involved with is incorporating some awesome package by January 2012 and I get to enjoy that benefit by then. ;)

Speaking of the taser phone... I doubt if it has the capacity to do that. You have to SET UP A FACE to FACE meeting I guess AND THEN zap 'em when they're clueless! LOL
