How Frustrated are you and Why?

Postby Juanita Waterman on Tue Sep 20, 2011 4:43 pm

1. Not enough leads
2. Not enough Sales
3. people quit
4. seems like nothing is happening spinning Wheels
5. information overload
6. not Techie
7. Everyone is doing Better then you
8. You do not know the Secrets

Really take a deep breathe and look at Rady Gages numbers
he sponsored 1 to 2 people a month to do that he talked to about 2 a day = about 12,000 folks he talked to. 189 joined him. Out of 189 165 quit. That left him with 24 out of that number most of his income comes from two people. Was it worth it? Did he work hard? Did he have alot of people quit? If you can fail as much as him you will be very very well off.
What do you think?

How long did it take him to actually talk to 12,000 people?
If he accomplished that feat online, he would have impressive numbers. Out of those online and the ones he personally talked to, then 24 stayed with him. Then that would be a great feat.
I may have talked to about 100-200 people over a period of about 2-3 years. I see them all the time, reinforcing their need to try something for themselves. After three years I got one customer. One person in the downline who soon dropped out from giving away the products to build a business.

I don't get frustrated because that one person is all I need to continue and lead that person to their greatest potential. Having just one person at a time is an incentive to continue to look for others who want the same thing and are still looking.

Frustration leads one to quit what they are doing. An incentive is that extra step that would keep you going until you find the next person who wants to succeed.

Juanita.Hi!

With Randy Gage...there is a funny situation.

He was a successful Multilevel Marketer.

For that reason he was invited to be one of the two guys to lead the charge in a very new and well founded with a mediocre idea...Agel was born.

He got nothing to lose...he was at 100% ground floor opportunity...he just needed to drag some good leaders from his prior organization...and voila.

To figure what opportunity means let's imagine a empty glass...you drop an alka Zeltzer...in top of that you place an ant...yes...it is not a typo...an ant...well...you pour 4 ounces of water...what happen with the ant...there is only one way the ant will go...and is UP!

Well...that is what happen when you are invited to be one of the two guys to lead the charge in a brand new and well funded mediocre idea...you raise to the top no matter what is happening down bellow...you always will look like a hero...because you are at the top...right? So when you talk people listen and more than that they will follow you because in front of the inexpert he/you are a hero.

I have to reckon that you will never will be invited to a very 100% ground floor opportunity if you do not have some real skills and real success...so Mr Randy Gage was a successful man in MLM the so call OLD SCHOOL.

But look at him like some kind of genius is another story...for me is like if the son of a very wealthy entrepreneur is being appointed to lead his father company...and because of that he goes on to write a book about" how to reach the top at your company"...and people idolize him for his accomplishment and rush to buy the book...ignoring what really took place.

So the only real... different advice I(just this humble servant of yours)would take from him is reduce to:

BE SUCCESSFULL SO YOU CAN BE INVITED TO A 100% GROUND FLOOR OPPORTUNITY!

Other than that what he preaches is the same old same recicle thing...and mix with the so call OLd School..which by the way I have nothing against the old school.

Be well,

Roger Aburto
P.S. So Juanita do not be frustrated...because according to your numbers...his performance has too much to desire...taking into account that he was invited to be the head of the new enterprise.
THIS IS OUR NOBLE MISSION IN THE DARK WE ARE THE THE ONE WHO LIGHT THE WAY!!

Hi Juanita,

I have no idea who Mr. Gage is, and as far as I am concerned, my numbers are great. My Sponsor helped me with that. My only frustration is that I feel behind the 8 ball in knowledge, and so much of it seems to be conflicting/contradictory.

One site or book says do this, this, and this - and another will say NEVER do what you just read you are supposed to do. I know that sentence looks weird, it feels weird too, when you have one saying YES! absolutely essential, and the other saying NO! it will ruin you.

SO - I am stumbling along and running my own experiments and seeing what works for me. I am only 3 months in, so I haven't got these big honking goals in my mind, I am taking things little by little and happy with any success at all. Right now, my success cannot be measured in money, because I haven't gotten any yet. My plan is that will change as I learn more and get better.

However, measuring my success by what I know now and what I new 3 months ago, (which was how to send an e-mail...period) I think I'm doing pretty darn good.

I know I am on the right track! I have to expect some to quit they didn't have the drive I did. That doesn't slow me down!

It's funny that 'frustration' is a human emotion.
This is a business we are operating. We are branding ourselves in the marketplace. There is no place for any human emotions here. If 100 people join you today, there should no emotion. That is a business decision. If one person drops out, as usual, and take 100 people with him, there should be no emotion over that either. It is just business. That should not effect you personally.
If someone's life is depended upon someone's decision to influence that income, you should change your priorities.
You still would get up the next day and continue to reach some one and help them to achieve their goals.

Hi Jaunita,
Frustrated?
It is a strange word, because it is a double edged statement.
Firstly it states you had expectations for an event...
Secondly it states you didn't achieve them!

I think if we knew our metrics better, frustration wouldn't be so prevalent.
Then if we knew the skill sets required to gain the goals we set, with their accompanying metrics, we would soldier excitedly on, but not blindly anymore.

Informed action is the way to go.

For those guys mentioned above, to achieve what they did, they had to go through massive learning curves to achieve the success they set for themselves.
If you want to head up an extraordinarily successful organization, you really do have to earn that privilege by learning how to be the leader.

It takes 5,000 hours of learning skills and applying those new skills to replace or earn an average income and 10,000 hours of intense and almost, as Bill Gates says, fanatical dedication, to achieve a 6 or 7 figure annual income.

Sometimes people do more hours, but when it's boiled down, the skills they needed for the task/goal they intended to achieve are in the 5,000 or 10,000 hours!

I get very frustrated especially with technical things online. Today I have been wrestling with face book problems and getting nowhere. I do have online support but sometimes find it is not the same as having a real person next to you as I am used to in a conventional job. I am fairly new to the online world and know I must accept it is a learning process and it will take time to get used to. No matter how frustrated I am I will never give up it is too important to me to succeed!

That's right Joy. Never give up. Take a breather. Work on it for about an hour or so. Then stop and take a breather from it. It may refresh your mind until it sinks in. Then one day you'll come back to it and do the things that you wanted to do in the first place. Giving up is not an option.
Remember it's only business. Try not to let your personal feelings into it. :P

I have been many times and it was always a lot of those things. I had found that its both how to get enough qualified prospects and what to say to them so that I didn't ruin them. Last night I was going through some old papers and came across an old script! I had to laugh, it was really quite entertaining, because it was sooooo bad!! No wonder I failed so miserably. It was all about me me and more me! Now I know thanks to people like you, to make it about them!
