.

Not quite inflatable ... but worth a gander non the less.
Could be an early prototype for the comic book series.

David,
I read the other replies and most give great advice. From your education with these courses, the first thing you need to learn is there are three reasons people will join your program. Do you know what they are? It's not your company, which I don't know what yours is. It's not the company leaders. It's not even the products your company has. It's YOU. The three reasons people will team up with you are:
1. Do they know you.
2. Do they like you.
3. Do they trust you.
That's it.

You bought yourself an education that if applied is going to make you millions. Re-read, take the info piece by piece and start writing the articles about how that info impacted (or worked) for you. Teaching information to someone else is the best way to retain.

Eliminate the "try" attitude. As Yoda says "Do or do not do, there is no try".

Make the commitment and go !

Oh and read Richard Bravo's article here on BN. Mandatory for all network marketers in my opinion.

Today is a good day to start. Enjoy it.

Great comments by all!

Study...Learn...Apply with Massive Action! And if you can find a mentor, someone to work with you one-on-one who has "been there, done that, and produced massive, positive results," so much the better!

Good luck to you...it's going to be a great ride!

Do, Do, Do... That is the lesson that I am learning... Never end the day hoping that tomorrow is going to be better, DO all that you can to make it a better day... I have put so much information into my head in the last few weeks that the desire to spill all that I am learning is becoming ovewhelming... I am just trying to find a captive audience. My MLM venture is just starting to unfold and I haven't even yet had a chance to share all this information with those that have sponsored me. I am starting to understand the phrase, "there is so much more to this opportunity... " To share this knowledge with those is going to be fun... $5,000 is a lot of money, at the start, but a drop in the bucket with the knowledge that you are receiving and the returns that come from putting that knowledge to good use...

This thread is a couple of months old but I think it would benefit others who are starting out.

You obviously had some money, but honestly I think you squandered it. Magnetic Sponsoring is just about all anyone needs (at first) to get started. There is plenty of material in there for you to get your head wrapped around the mindset, as Adam has touched on, and enough material to move forward exploring the various methods of generating leads and getting yourself established online. There was no need to spend $4000.

I think Richard and Adams gave a lot of awesome advice. One of the pitfalls when starting out is people don't realize that you don't make money just by signing up for programs but by taking consistent action everyday. The more programs that you signed up for, the more distracted you'll become trying to suck in everything at once. It's like drinking from a fire hose. You'll feel overwhelmed, burn out and discouraged because of the information that you'll have to deal with. It's no different than someone who goes to the library borrowing one book, determine to finish it before borrowing the second one versus someone who borrow several books and ending up not finishing any of them. Be disciplined and act wisely, not foolishly.
