In the last 30 mins, I bought more Mike Dillard courses then I ever thought I ever would. Coming into this industry if I knew I would end up spending this much to become successful I don't think I would I have joined. Now that I've spent close to $4,000 dollars on products, dvds, cds, books, ANYTHING that could help me. I'm literally not giving up now until I make all my money back plus tons more.

If you're wondering what I bought; I bought PPC Domination, Writers guild and MLM traffic formula 2. Mike Dillard said this is it and I'm going to do it if his products are that good. I really don't want to say I'm giving up if this doesn't work but I'm afraid I have too. 5,000 dollars and I haven't seen a single cent is really hard to shallow. :/

Mike Dillard I hope you're right man, I hope you're right.

Edit: Any advice for someone starting fresh with all of Mike Dillards products?

I haven't seen you around but maybe I've been busy doing my thing. So first welcome to an amazing community.

I'm going to be blunt mate, so take it as someone whose been where you are right now..

Some of us spent more and never seen a cent until we changed the way we think and sorted out our BELIEF.

Our BELIEF leads to actions and behaviour. What type of action and behaviour do you want? Then change that belief because this comes way before result. It needs a different kind of attitude and thinking.

"if.." has no room in this thinking.

Secondly, this isn't about you, is it?

If you read Magnetic Sponsoring then you'll have discovered that its not about you or what you'll need to spend on another book or course. It's about INCREASING your VALUE to others.

So YOU can serve more people.

How many you think haven't invested what you have and how many don't know jack about ppc and building a nerve centre that works and not just a blog?

See how many people you can serve by sharing knowledge that has real value? Believe me, you don't have to do much to be ahead of the crowd these days. Not much at all. Just increase your VALUE and you'd kick butt online and offline.

So that thinking needs to change, because such thinking and attitude will never give way for you to make it in life and in your business. Might as go back to a job.

Also You see that part I made bold, that's the part that is going to preventing you making a dime in this industry. Period.

Belief comes before result.

Belief not result first. Belief.

So change that thinking dude.

You've done the first part on what makes anyone successful in life. That is gaining the knowledge, now, put the work in but get rid of..

"If it works.."

This is not going to do much good for you. Instead it will harm you. It will cause one to be needy, desperate and panic. It causes people to be distracted.

So now start with not "If it works.."

Start with, "I know 100% it WORKS! I can see it! Right, let's get the plan done, and follow the path that has been paved for me.."

Speak it, thinking, believe it but put the work in everyday, work your butt off because you KNOW it works. You BELIEVE it works. You so put everything on the line because you BELIEVE without a shadow of freaking doubt that it works.

Because that's exactly what's going to come out in your articles. In your emails. In your videos.

I expect every team member for example, that when I am on that battle field and I say..

"BURN ALL THOSE SHIPS we are not GOING BACK. Burn them. We are here to win!"

And we are outnumber 10 -2 with challenges, we know 100% we going to WIN! Or Die winning.

You cannot afford to do the work with a mind that says..

"If it works.."

No one can, if they wish to succeed David.

Kick that out right now from your mind. It's not serving you any good thinking that way mate. I'm saying this cause I freaking care. I admire anyone who invests in knowledge. I respect and admire anyone who puts it on the line and goes for it.

And I don't want you wasting your energy on doubt, which lingers at the back of your subsconscious mind.

There is no "but.." and there is no "if.."

There is only knowledge, skill and work you butt off with belief.

Belief will always comes before result.

If what you do doesn't work, it has nothing to do with Traffic Formula, Magnetic Sponsoring, PPC. It needs guidance as you do them. So when you get stuck on PPC, then for example, find someone who will help you along the way.

Or read more on it to get better, do more to get better at it. Read more on copywriting to get better. Read more on physchology to get better at aiming right at the emotions of your prospects.

Master that skill, get better at it, turn it upside down till you become a true student of these skills!

On page 14 of Magnetic Sponsoring, Mike Dillard shares this. In his exact words he says..

"EVERY leader has been there, and you need to know this....

BELIEF comes before Results.

Belief leads to certain actions and behaviours. Those actions and behaviours are going to be awkward in the beginning, but given the dedication, time, and affirmation, those actions and behaviours will turn you into the type of person you need to be, in order to generate the results you seek.."

Please everyone, read this book again, and again until you go, "DAMN! AHA! I GOT IT!"

I had to read this book over and over, and over again till it a light bulb hit me.

Can you see where most go wrong?

When we were kids, babies, in our nappies, sittin on the floor AND we saw grown up walks...

Did we say, "What if I can't walk like mama, dadda, and people around me?"

Heck no. We didn't thinking but get up and copy them. We fell, hit out head on floor, table. We fell so many times, that if we did that as adults, I bet we'd quit and never do it again.

But as kids, we never thought, "WHAT IF.."

It was programmed into us to first see results in ourself and then we put action in.

With PPC you CAN find what works, before plowing money in. You can test before you create an ebook. You get results but it starts way, way back in your belief first.

It's not Mike Dillard responsibility to MAKE you succeed. Nor is he responsibie for your failures either.

You are. We are. And we have to take responsibility for all we do.

Start with how you think.

I'm right there with Adam. I just re-read Magnetic Sponsoring this morning, and I already feel better about myself and what I'm capable of. I'm just about 60 days into my first venture in network marketing, and so far I've not produced a single thing.

Nada. Zip. Zilch.

The reasons for that (and I've just discovered this today, or at least finally admitted it today) is because of my lack of belief in myself and what I'm capable of.

It's not about what books you read, nor what company you're involved with. I applaud you on your decision to invest in your education and growth, it will absolutely benefit you in the long run. You'll never get ahead if you don't learn what works and what doesn't.

But no matter what information is contained withing the pages of any book, unless you, and you alone, are willing to get out there and do something with it, you'll never see the results.

I maybe sounding a little harsh right now and that's probably because I was in basically the same position you are in. I have believed that for a long time that if I could just find the right book or the right method that my dreams of financial independence for my family would be achieved. I could quit my job and go on without a care in the world, and the answer will be in that next course that I purchase.

The truth of the matter is, there's so many answers out there to whatever your problem is, and every new purchase that you make will show you another answer that will help you in your business.

But it's your business, not mike, not Mike Dillard's, not anyone else's.

The results that you desire are entirely, completely based on your efforts and your choice to believe in yourself, probably when no one else is willing to.

Take the courses you've just bought, read them. Read them until you get it. Read Magnetic Sponsoring again until you "get it."

Then, go do it!

Adam hit some great points there.
Here's my take on your comments...

First of all, everything you bought ... it's nothing more than an education.
Information. Data for your brain.

What you didn't get in the package is an inflatable Mike Dillard that goes out and builds your business.
And without ACTION, actually using and implementing the things taught in that information, all you were doing was shopping. You aren't building your business, you're building a library.

See David here's the thing ...
So many people that get started as you have, come into this world of being an entrepreneur doing what you've done, coming from where you've most likely come - a job. And in many cases in a job atmosphere, you get paid by showing up. You don't have to be the best performer. You don't have to put any EXTRA effort into your tasks. You really don't have to do much other than show up, and at the end of the week you get a paycheck. Sure that's slightly exaggerated, but not much.

Yet on the other hand, comparatively, how hard to work at your job to KEEP tha paycheck coming in?
You get up every day at god awful early hours, even though you probably don't want to most of the time.
You drive to work, fighting traffic. You're stressed out. Over worked and under paid.
But yet, day after day, hundreds of millions of people all over the world do it.
All for that little rectangular piece of paper every two weeks.
Which by the way is usually gone waaaaaaay before the next one arrives.

The point is, being an entrepreneur, building your own business, doesn't work that way.
You may feel accomplished by buying all of this material ... you know, it makes you feel proactive, productive ... "I'm working on my business!" kind of feelings, what's going to produce the "paycheck" is action.
MASSIVE ACTION. The cool thing is, once you learn how to do it, and DO IT, you don;t have to get up every day. After awhile the checks come whether you show up or not.
That's freakin cool if you ask me!

You said you've bought over $4000 worth of material so far.
How much of that training have you implemented and actually implemented to build your business?

I can sit in lectures all day ... does that make me an Oxford professor?
I can by mp3s all day ... does that make me a Grammy winning singer?
I can watch movies all day ... does that make me an Oscar winning director?
No ... of course not.

Just because you own a hammer and saw doesn't make you a carpenter.
You have to learn hot to USE the tools and BUILD your business.

You bought PPC Domination, which by the way is all about "PAY per click" yet it sounds like you're about out of money. How do you plan to implement what you learn in that course if you have no capital to run your campaigns?

This is the tough conversation David, and my point in being so blunt with you is simple ...
Move your ass! Get to work. Start using what you've learned already.

Sorry, there's simply no other way to say it.
You're obviously a smart guy, well spoken, and able to write well enough, so get out there and JUST DO IT!
You obviously had some money, but honestly I think you squandered it. Magnetic Sponsoring is just about all anyone needs (at first) to get started. There is plenty of material in there for you to get your head wrapped around the mindset, as Adam has touched on, and enough material to move forward exploring the various methods of generating leads and getting yourself established online. There was no need to spend $4000.

You want to climb a mountain ... start walking.
You can pack your pack and repack it. You can buy the best boots, the best rope, the best harness, the best helmet, the best ice axe, the best crampons, the best blah, blah, blah. You aren't you going anywhere till you put one foot in front of the other.

Like I said, it's easy to feel busy when you are perpetually stuck in a cycle of preparation.
Always getting ready to be ready. But at some point man you simply have to pull the trigger and see what happens. That's the only way you are going to truly learn anything about this industry or building your own business ... EXPERIENCE. And you'll never ever get that in a book.

Remember what I said about Massive Action?
Remember what I said about the job mentality ... just showing up?

You've probably heard people use that phrase before right? ... Massive Action.
Well ... if the majority of the population is sitting on their ass in a cubicle, comes home after work and sits on their ass in front of the tv, knowing that, what do you think massive action really looks like?

What do you think it will really take to make it? Do you have to be a super star?
I argue that if you simply work as hard on your business as you do at your job you'll do better than 90% of the people who say they are building their business too. Anything extra you give is what will determine whether you quit your job or not.

Anyway, I've rambled on enough. I think you see the point I'm making.
Don't take any of it the wrong way. This isn't personal, at least not for me - it's your business.
Don't be mad at me for what I shared. I'm simply offering insight. Be mad at yourself.
Get fed up with your circumstances and do something about it.

You make it personal for you.
That's when things will start happening.

Adam and Richard are right on the money, man. Do exactly what they say with your investment and nothing will stop you. We bought Mike's courses and put them into action. We haven't looked back since.

Also pay close attention to everything these two networkers post. Follow their comments here on BN. If they took the time to say something, it is packed with value. I have learned a lot from them in my short time on here and it just keeps coming!

And don't be afraid to ask questions like you have. You will be amazed at the value you will receive here just for asking- and a side benefit for us reading as well!

David. Well hello.

Being a young man like you with the power to buy in a shopping spree almost $5.000.00, only means that you are sure what you want to become. So I will not waste time with the trivial lectures.

My advise is very simple...so simple that we get mad when we find out the secret:

First off. David LEARN HOW TO LEARN the material you bought from Mike Dillard.Of course with any material for that matter. Sounds very simplistic, is it not? But this is a huge thing for everybody to do.

1* Never past a word you do not understand. This is big. Believe me.Dictionary!

2* Once you learn a new technique. Close your book. grab ruber bands, clips, pencils, and whatever object that help you explain with your own word what you have learnt.You do representations with objects...and if you explain(using the objects like clips, ruber bands) to someone else is more powerful.

There is more to it, but I do not want to overwelmed you. Aply just these two tips and you will see the results almost immediatelly. At the beginning is a little bit slow, but when times goes by it will be so fast and worth it that you will be very happy you did it.

David, if I told you how much money I spent in network marketing, you would problably flip. In fact, I have so much stuff from network marketing that I keep all the material in a rental storage building....

Remember that all of that stuff that you bought can simply be written off as a business expense on your taxes, but more importantly you should have a sufficient amount of information available to you to successfully run and operate a network marketing business. Just don't try to rush to the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow because it takes time.

You also need to check on what business you're going to get involved and make sure that its capable of making you a nice income.

Everyone has to start somewhere and the smart ones start with LEARNING.

I had thoughts like that too. If I were you now I would read over the comments above a few times throughout the day----slowly. There are some tough words in there but they are doing you a favor. This is a TOUGH industry (mlm). I used to joke that I needed to find a bottle of "Skin So Thick" to help me get started I like affiliate marketing but there's a lot to learn there too.

As has been said----follow what Richard & Adam post---look up in the archives. Read & re-read Magnetic Sponsoring. Remember the other products have a money back guarantee. So study hard & apply much.
