Thank you for sharing,

Whenever I get down, I only have to get in a crowd or turn on the news to see how fortunate I am. Then I am embarrassed  and think I am the most ungrateful person in the world. I am really hard on myself and rightfully so.

When you are caught up in all the drama, it does help to see that "This too shall pass". It is one of my favorite quotes. Sometimes we have to see the bottom in order to look up!

I too always remind myself of where I am born and how blessed I am. We live better in the poorest state than some Kings did in the past. We have running water and an abundance of food here in the United States. I feel that a thank you is not even good enough to those who fight for and fought for our freedom; lest we take the time to celebrate and give gratitude for those who made this country possible on Memorial Day.

I am grateful to God for everything, especially my relationships built upon love and trust. :D

P.S. Pink Floyd is totally awsome! 8-)

This is one of my favorites from you Richard! :)

Derek and I gave up the "CAGE", as predictable and seemingly good as it was. We could have never imagined all the twists and turns we have encountered, but when I lay my head on the pillow at night, I feel good, I feel happy and I feel ALIVE!

I just wrote this down this morning.

"You have so many ways of measuring your success. In your society, your dollars are a measurement of success; your trophies are a measurement of success-but from our prospective, the existance within you of positive emotion is your greatest measure of success." Abraham-Hicks

Bravo Richard! That's precisely why I decided to stay off the computer early this morning and take my 14 year old daughter fishing! She normally sleeps in and home schools, but I had her willingly get up at 630am and join me on the lake! The icing on the cake was when she caught the only fish, she beamed with joy!

I was in heaven there for a couple hours, and we talked about how we would remember this moment for the rest of our days! Thanks for putting light on the important things in life friend!
