5. Running a Business as a Kindergartener
Wow! Talk about a fast learner. At the mere age of 5, your little baby is turning out to be quite the active one. During this half a decade, you will sometimes wonder, "Is my child ever going to remember what I'm trying to tell them?" Well, this is about the time where you start to answer your own question; all those times teaching them manners, proper eating etiquette, understanding rules, you name it. All of a sudden, you start to see them holding doors, saying "Please" and "Thank you", listening and cooperating with their fellow friends/classmates/teachers, even problem-solving is more fluent. With all these wonderful features that are evolving, though, there's still that hint of massive curiosity that could potentially cause some issues. Even more hilariously stressful is their lack of short-term memory; how many times can you remember your baby forgetting a sock, a shirt, their whole backpack?! All you can do is follow their footsteps with them and hopefully track down the simple spot that they left their belongings. Sound familiar, parents? What about you, business owners?
Much like children beginning their true general education at this age, a good business and owners will hopefully start to use their basic knowledge that they've obtained this far during countless hours of dedication and apply them for even larger greatness. Remember those co-workers/recruits that you've been side-by-side with to help them through the door? Now they can apply those little teachings and start to make a name for themselves as they help others with whatever needs they can have fulfilled; sales, opportunities, apprenticeship, [heck] a successful example for future assistants. With that pride, though, there is never such thing as not knowing too much when it comes to your occupation. You and your accomplices should always keep learning; a mind should never cease to be active. If not, a reversion of that short-term memory loss is [b]bound[b] to happen, and there will be no help for further progression. Therefore, follow up on your studies; make sure your recruits do the same; and don't feel disgruntled if you have to help them backtrack for those "missing clothes/backpacks". Who knows; those potential finds could be worth a fortune and a life-saver for everyone you're involved with.
