What a Bunch of Losers.....

Postby Jim Ticehurst on Thu Oct 06, 2011 11:03 am

Every year I watch on television the series 'The Biggest Loser" and what an inspiration they are. The story line is so predictably beautiful.

The first couple of weeks they are crying and complaining that they just can't do it....then by the end of week three the light has gone on in their head and they are saying 'hey, I can do this!'.

This week one of the contestants by week three had lost 77 lbs and he cried with joy. Their achievements overwhelm them and the realization finally sinks in that where they was is not where they have to be for the rest of their lives.

I think that one of the great features and beauties of that show is that there is no 'magic bullet' ...there are no diet pills, medicines or secrets involved, just hard work, good leadership, and common sense.

If only we could realistically apply the same principals into our own endeavors and after 3 months simply look back and say to ourselves, "Great I am the Biggest Loser here and I am now set for life!"

That's it, take care, regards Jim T.

That would be nice to sit back and watch your money come in daily like the television show. Week one through week three all shown in a snap shot of a few minutes.
There was a lot of editing to their story, I'm sure.
Life and really running a business doesn't run the same way. It does take time, effort, and strategy to figure out what works and what your prospects want and when they want it.
The main thing is that they did not quit, nor should you if you plan on staying in business because of your 'why.'
Television makes every little effort so exciting to watch as others struggle to lose their unwanted pounds.
The real thing is, we are not on television probing our every move or challenges that we must meet every day.
Our main goal is to lose the procrastination and run a business most effortlessly.

I like what you said about the magic bullet. So many times we try to find the magic bullet what tool is going to help us get success. Without the basic knowledge of marketing the tools are not going to help.

Rich Dad Poor Dad has a book called your Finacial IQ where he says asks Golf Club or Golf Lessons he goes on to expalin he has friends who will spend all this money on new clubs and tools that are suppose to help them improve their game but because they don't improve their skill their game never improves.
