What is Your #1 Biggest Challenge We Can Brainstorm?

Postby Debbie Turner on Sat Dec 27, 2008 8:25 pm

I joined BN because I believed it would be a place to really come together as a group, wrap around each other and help each other find missing puzzle pieces that may be keeping us back in some way.

I'm sure that everyone here has their strengths and maybe there's even those to have it all totally together. That's awesome. But, I would like to be totally authentic with you guys and state where I could use some suggestions.

I'd like this thread to be about our challenges and see how many solutions and suggestions we can bring to the table to help each other. I hope some of you are game in being authentic and real about what we each may need so we can all come out of this community as a BETTER NETWORKER.

I'll go first. Here's my current challenge:

1) Finding enough time in the day to be active enough to utilize the social sites like I should.

2) As I reach out to make friends on Facebook and MySpace, I do post to blogs and leave comments, things like that, but sometimes I'm not sure if I'm using it effectively to blow my business out of the water. Does anyone have a very specific strategy, NOT INCLUDING Friendblaster, that they have found to be both extremely effective and time efficient?

I feel like I'm fumbling forward in this method instead of really doing it right. I want to improve and be able to help my team do the same. I missed signing up for Mike Dillards/Perry Belcher program :(. I know I would have really benefited from that.

Thanks for any assistance in my challenge and I hope I can help someone out in their challenge.

Hey Debbie, twice in one day, people are gonna start to talk.

Listen, I stumbled across the below link this morning about at about 6:30 (all nighter) and bookmarked it. I don't remember much about it at all. I did watch the initial video, and it appears to be informative. There may be a touch of spam in his methods. Sorry, it's still a little foggy. I was on my way to it when I got side-tracked and your post caught my eye.

Funny, I was looking for help and now I may be able to help. Damn, I love this site. Anyway, I am heading there right now, just thought I'd pass it on while I was in the neighborhood.

LOL (lots of luck)

Forgot Me.

Hi Debbie,

Lord, forgot all about myself. That's a good thing, right?

OK, I think that I am victim of Input Overload; so many methods, offers, techniques, and EVERYTHING else.

You can’t imagine what I went through just figuring out which opportunity to go with. I was/am a Private Investigator for about 20 years so that just makes me overly analyze and take a magnifying glass to everything, it sickening. In addition, I am NO quitter. I won’t go into my military resume’, however…

You can not imagine how proud I was when I bought Magnetic Sponsoring, it meant that I had FINALLY sorted through ALL of stuff out there and committed to an opportunity. I did this knowing that I don’t quit, EVER. That’s why this decision was so big for me.

NOW, here’s my biggest problem…I am good at multi-tasking but I just don’t know what to do first to get some money in here. I have Magnetic Sponsoring and BOAB is en route, I have listened to the training call ½ a dozen times and the web page is being optimized for domain name and Meta Tabs, so it’s done but where do I direct all of this firepower, HAH firecracker.

I feel like I’ve gotten so involved with learning and avoiding NOT doing it right that I’m doing nothing at all. So, fastest money puller that I can get up and going now. Just to show myself that it can be done.

Bear in mind that everything that I’ve spent up until now has taken away from the kids, the exact opposite of why I got into this. Folks, you can’t imagine how little money there is for now. I just need someone that’s been here to point me in the correct direction. I can get my focus from there.

Thanks so much for a great topic, Debbie.

You can watch Perry Belcher's videos on youtube.
There you will learn that it took him 3-4 hours a day on Twitter to build his list of 5000 followers.

Building a business in social sites is by nature time consuming. Probably not the shortcut you were hoping for :?

I've watched his videos and just missed signing up for his training coming up. I grasp that concept. I suppose like you said, this is a long term (snail) build, kinda like article marketing. But, do it often enough, continue to add value and stay with it (same with blogging) then it will happen.

What I've done is did quite a bit of videos on magnetic sponsoring, renegade university and traffic geyser over the last couple of months, and just in the 2 months I've generated about $1,500. Now, that's not a lot, but I'm happy for just the couple months with some videos. I recommend you get some video and article marketing out, keyword specific (using some long tail keywords) and get them out. Hopefully by end of Jan you've been able to make some front end sales, then be sure and call your leads, introduce yourself, start a dialog and see how you can help them. Who knows, maybe they are looking for a primary biz or are not happy with the one they have and you can help them out there too. Sounds like PPC is not in your budget right now (?) and if that's the case, stick with good free videos and lots of them.

Hey Pat,

If you have not done so already, check out Debbie's free ebook. You specifically touching on this case of individuals want to learn everything in fear not not doing it right.
From Mike Dillard, I learned that as Network Marketers we need systems that work; just like McDonalds! Are you looking for MLM Systems That Work?

I am looking to follow Network Marketing Professionals

Hello!
I've been enjoying reading what everyone else has been posting and I'm learning so much!
My biggest challenge is deciding what my niche is! I can think of 3 or 4 but am struggling with where to start. I can relate to one of you who said they had so much info coming in but not much action because they want to do it just right. That's me. I've been reading and thinking for several months but can't seem to take the plunge to start a blog, squidoo, or website. I love my mlm company I've been with for 11 years so I've wanted to start a website and social market in that area (health) but at the same time I have a child with special needs and see a real need to get info out to other caregivers who have a need to work from home.
I would love any suggestions. I'm a member of RU which is where I've been learning a lot about attraction marketing.
Thanks!

Dayna,

In RU, have you taken the Writing with Pull class? That should help you very much with your target/niche market. I'd start there. Perhaps targeting parents of special needs children and focusing on their desires and needs and wants to be home with the child can be a direction.

Thanks Debbie!
That was actually on my list of things to do tonight along with reviewing the 7 lessons again.
I appreciate it!
