There is no such thing as a problem because we are the ones who create the problem. Our problem is that most people would like to have everything given to them right now. The people who have instant gratification are the lottery winners because frequently they come from an entitlement mentality. They think that if they will die without having what they want. It is really far from the truth.
Here is why. You have to grow into the person who has the mindset of handling millions of dollars because if you do not then you will lose all of it. It is just like going to the Strip Clubs on 42 and street and paying $100-$500 for a one hour lap dance. That is the Slight Edge on the failure curve. Think about it if you have been there ten times, you are paying a total of $5000. Who wants that?
The lottery winners are worse off before they won the lottery because to make more you have to become more. You have to grow into the person with the mindset of helping other people be successful. That way you will get what you want, not immediately but eventually using the Slight Edge.
Napoleon Hill interviewed over 500 millionaires in the book Think And Grow Rich and every one of them had a challenge they had to overcome. None of them lived in a vaccum. They were selective in who they masterminded with and more importantly they did what their mastermind members told them to do whether they liked it or not.
This business is work. That is why it is called network marketing, not play or net easy but network marketing.
Are you part of the solution or are you going to tell the universe you are a part of the problem? Your choice. See you at the top.

Re: Why There Is No Such Thing As A Problem?
I've noticed that people who play and win in the lottery usually go back and spend more and more the next time to increase their chances of winning again. In the end, they are spending more until it is an endless cycle.
Anybody who would spend more than $500+ in a strip club had more money to spend than he/she realizes.
We create a problem when we splurge recklessly like there is no tomorrow.
People who like to drink or gamble is no problem for the drinker or gambler. There is a problem for everybody else who has to deal with him.
How are you investing your time, money and energy? Are you helping others to attain their goals or is your time wasted when others have to deal with you and your problems?
To eliminate a problem, do something!

It is very important to identify which problems you can be fixed now
and which problems requires time, because some processes need time
and you just involved in that process to fix that long term problem - this is
a process to financial freedom doing business.
Man people want to fix it now, they dont understand that it require
to "grow up" and it does require time and they dont want to change
ANYTHING in them mindset, daily routine and habbits those people
are not qualified for NM at all.
Quick fix is as you mentioned is a lottery

Challenges and problems are only opportunities in disguise...a chance for you to do something that you never thought you could do.

I believe some people may look at certain situations as problems, while others see them as opportunities. I bet Warren Buffett see our poor economy not as a problem but as a opportunity. It's all about how you approach any situation.

Re: Why There Is No Such Thing As A Problem?
You have to determine what a prospect needs vs their wants. It is a difference. For instance we all have to go to the dentist every six months but do we want to go to the dentist? No. We need to. Today I have learned something else from Tom Big Al Schrieter. You have to know when it is appropriate to ask a prospect the question "What are your two biggest career problems?" Ask yourself are you talking about it? Is the prospect busy or whatever. Just do not do it to everyone who can fog a mirror. Be the judge. And if they are good when you ask the question would you like to do something about it? Then you know that they are not a volunteer just move out. There are people who complain for the sake of complaining. Leave them alone.
