Hi all,

I am a newbie on this forum and to magnetic sponsering and really getting into the idea of online marketing and make some serious money.

I still market traditionally (leads, flyers, etc) but I really want to get this onlne marketing thing going. I have not done any google advertising, capture pages or anything yet.

So I went and bought Magnetic Marketing and while it gave some really really good advice about becoming alpha etc, however I am in a bit of information overload and just trying to piece together where to start!!

So here is where I am at. I know that:

1. I need to generate traffic to my capture page.
Questions: will traffic formula help me to learn how to do google adwords and all that stuff? to create this traffic?

2. Buy a domain, or a few differnt domains and create a really good capture pages. I already have some capture pages with my affiliate MS system. Are these the ones you use? I see some other people in this USANA forum have made their own.

3. You call them after they sign up for the free information or video.

4. Where does the funded proposal come in then?

I know this is long, but can anyone tell me if I'm on the right track :)
I really want to spend the time getting this right.

Yes it will teach you how to use capture pages, adwords, articles and press releases and more.

You should have several domain names. I would purchase one and forward it to your MS capture page. It is important to present your prospects with generic helpful information first, and not lead with your company. If you haven't read the magnetic sponsoring book yet, you should read that to learn about funded proposals and earning profit before they even know about your company. You could make your own capture page to do this and sell them MS or just promote the capture pages we have available.

3. You call them after they sign up for the free information or video.

I would recommend that you call them, and introduce yourself and see if they have any questions. Don't try and sell them your opportunity, remember you are trying to help them and giving without want. You will be given to if you help others in their current situation

4. Where does the funded proposal come in then?

Funded proposals come in on the front end. It is the first thing that you promote. This will help fund your advertising, and give you a chance to build a relationship with your prospects without coming across as threatening in any way. You can actually get paid to prospect if you lead with generic information like MS. and then back end your business opportunity.

Hope this helps you and sheds a little light on the subject. I didn't get into too much detail.

Hi there Kathryn, I am also pretty new to MS, I have the book and also Traffic Formula which I thought was brilliant and has thrown me rather high up the learning curve I think, although there are still many things that confuse me! I am really enjoying the learning and putting it into practise - I started my first Google AdWords campaign last week (I didn't even know what AdWords was before MS!) and have already seen 8 people join the MS Bootcamp (which is what I'm advertising for) I am slowly building new ads and am currently working on the nuts and bolts of starting a blog which I think will be fun, I'm basically just going to make it a story of how I used all the learning from here and other sites to create leads and build my business, letting others know my rollercoaster journey into internet marketing!! I am sticking quite strictly to the Traffic lessons in terms of how to do capture pages (working on my own :blink: at the moment) etc, I was wondering how those of you that have created your own sites are finding conversion etc? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Michelle,

I have been on a hiatus for while and getting back into it. I thank you for taking the time out to reply! So in terms of results, you have seen 8 people join MS bootcamp. Do you ge a referral fee from these..funded proposal? Or only when they sign up for any of the magnetic spnsoring courses? How long did it take for these results to start happening? Have you contacted any of those leads?
Sorry about all the questions, but I am tossing up this course and another one I am looking at. Just getting into the online stuff now after years of buying leads and flyers!

update from me: I've now got a few more (another 8? but don't quote me) onto the boot camp but you're right we only earn commisions on products sold (the goal being enough MS books or courses are sold to pay for all the leads) I have been emailing the leads to introduce myself/ask if they have questions very non-threatening. and I sold (well I guess technically Mike sold!) my first MS Book on Wednesday so I earned US$20 not quite a magic slot machine yet as I've spent about $30 but now that I'm writing this if I convert it to the same currency it's NZ$24.5 earned and NZ$32.03 spent so not too far off, (bearing in mind that the first week was a learning curve of epic proportions with keywords flyin all over the place - I'm a bit more organised now!) so of course now I need to work on consistantly adding adgroups and improving the ads I have.
I hope I've helped a bit?!? oh also this took me the last 3-4? weeks (doesn't seem that long?) I'm sure others do much more much quicker but I guess it depends on previous knowledge and other commitments. For me personally I bought MS Book first then Traffic so think this may be how some/most (Justin?) ppl will do it, (so my one that bought book and earned me $20 will earn me $200 when she buys Traffic!) then I can call work and sit in front of the computer all day tomorrow creating ads instead of working!

Thank you Michelle! You have been really helpful. I am realy considering getting traffic formula if it shows you how to do everything. But just a litle bit confuxed with this new BOAB and how detailed that is, seems like a lot of the same info is in there

Anyway, have a great night! What do you do besides this?
