Hi Everyone,
I am curious in how most use BetterNetworker when you come to the site.
Do you immediately go to the forums and scan and read them when you visit? I wonder if this is where most people go to.
Do you read the emails that Jason Better sends out and click on the links?
Do you read or skim through the classifieds? if at all?
Do you stay on the home page or go to the community page?
Do you actually read the articles or watch the videos or listen to the pod casts that are posted?
Do you participate in the groups at all or read them?
Do you share links on facebook or twitter or where ever else?
How else do you participate with BetterNetworker?
It would be interesting to see.
For myself I read the emails that are sent out and will click on at least one or two of articles in the listing. Because of my time I often usually only visit the forums even if I don't respond. I
am now responding more often. I visit most days.
I get to the forums usually from the home page from the listing on the left.
I usually click on the home page not the community page. I forget that it's there. I have not participated in any groups, yet.
I will be getting more involved with submitting articles, etc now that I am developing content.
I rarely go to the leaders library or instructors page.
Just curious, anyone want to answer.

Re: How do you use BetterNetworker?
Richard,
That's a great question. How you and the rest of the community here at BetterNetworker.com use the site dictates what we focus on and further develop.
You mentioned the groups. I don't know that there is enough interest in the groups, so we very well may do away with them soon.
We are in the process of evaluating many of the features of the site. If it is not getting used it may go. So if there are features and function that you like, share it here so that we keep it.
Cheers,

Re: How do you use BetterNetworker?
First of all, I want to say that BetterNetworker is class AAAplus.
It's very interesting and useful information to ask these question and get answers for them.
I have begun asking these types of questions as a marketeer and Networker because I want to know where to spend most of my resources for my new website and how to best share and read information.
I've noticed studying the website and looking at the stats that you provide as views, the ones that usually get a lot views and responses are posts and articles dealing with generating leads in some way shape or form. That doesn't surprise me. But it's useful to know. A lot can be learned from that.
I've also wondered how much time people actually spend here or on other websites not because of lack of quality content (there's plenty of awesome content), but because they are limited on time. Should articles be a quick short read? These are just some of the questions that pop into my head when studying this stuff and taking action.
To be honest I am truly surprised that no one until this point has responded. I would think everyone who is using the internet to market and network would share and want to know this information.
I get the most value from Forums, some from leaders library, and from your weekly emails highlighting good content.

Re: How do you use BetterNetworker?
I am a veteran on this site. I am NOT a paying member. Initially, it was a good site to use for generating leads BEFORE it became a paid site for that purpose. I use this site for the forum discussions, even though I haven't been on this site very much lately. Mostly because the same topics keep getting rehashed.
I believe, from my own personal experience that if you are on this site to generate leads or sales for your business, you are wasting your time. You NEED to connect with people. Just posting links to your website and "acting like a marketing expert" won't get the job done.
You have to CONNECT with people. The facts are in. 95% of the population that is involved with network marketing are NOT making money. There are several reasons for that. The #1 reason being is that MOST PEOPLE want SOMETHING FOR NOTHING!
If you want to market your business and make money, you HAVE TO CONNECT WITH PEOPLE! One of the most successful people that I know in the networking business has a favorite saying: "If you want more money, you have to TALK TO MORE PEOPLE!" Forum discussions are a good beginning, BUT, at some point you are going to have to pick up the phone and call someone. You can send private messages to people that you feel like you can make a connection with. Ask them about THEIR business and their life and if they are paying attention, they will ask you about yours.
This is just my opinion. I hope it helps.
