Any one using adbrite? I have a question...

Postby Sam Stone on Sat Oct 31, 2009 2:42 am

Hey,

I am about to run an campaign in adbrite and I would love to hear some feedback, from your experience what works better banner ads or text ads?

I will be directing the traffic to a landing page to help grow a list, if this information helps.

Thanks for your ideas, and feedback

.

Site and demographic targeting using banner ads that look like text ads.
Also try to go for mid page, above the fold - 300x250 standard rectangle is great.
Shhhhh..... dont tell anyone though - thats super secret ninja tactics. ;)

Adbrite is awesome, and it can be real cheap compared to a new account on Google, but you gotta keep track of your placements.
Bare in mind they will post your ad in some weird sites - check your placement reports often.

I have used Adbrite for about two months with very small conversion rates on several different programs. I have used contextual and tested about 15 different banner ads and cant get anything to stick.
Tired of TINY MLM Checks and Downlines that don't produce? I was too. I found far more success in Top Tier Direct Sales and a better education than 6 years of college ever gave me.

The only thing I can add to this excellent advice is to choose colors and fonts
to match the site your banner is on. The more it looks like a natural part of the
site, the better.

Oh yeah. There's also a technique where you make your ad as different as possible
to catch the eye of the reader.

You'll just have to test each technique on each site.
