So we built our business by building our brand via Facebook and Facebook PPC. I even have a course that walks people through the entire process step by step. I am looking for feedback.
1. Have you tried Facebook PPC
2. If so, how did it work out for you ? Success or Lack of?
3. If you weren't successful why? Was it because you weren't getting leads or maybe your ads were not getting approved
4. How knowledgeable do you think you are when it comes to Facebook PPC
5. If you have been successful in Facebook PPC why do you think?
Thanks!!

Re: Facebook PPC - Still Alive?
Hello,
I have not done Facebook PPC. I have been investigating it though.
A good way to get your questions answered would be at
http://www.FBAdsLab.com.
They have great training. Not free, but it has been highly recommended by various successful FB advertisers. They will also do your campaign for you. I know that Tony Robbins uses this company.
As you know, you can not advertise network marketing on FB. However, you can send people to a free report or other non-opportunity based landing page.
Good luck.

Re: Facebook PPC - Still Alive?
Hi Michelle,
It is so glad to actually see your post here. I recently became a member of MLSP and was offered your course on Facbook advertising. I was quite intrigued by it and wanted to know more about it.
About facebook PPC - I recently got a free coupon from them and decided to just give this a shot. I created an add and put it on there - it was for an affiliate product.
The stats I have are the following:
94 hits
14 opt ins
1 sale
The conversion rate is about 1%
And since I had no clue what I was doing I am paying about $1.03 per click - that seems really high seeing what some of the other people are talking about.
I would really like to learn more about the Facebook PPC strategy to get high quality leads for my business. I am actually a teambeachbody coach and want to follow the MLSP strategy of leading with value.
Any input would be greatly appreciated.
Best,
TJ.

Re: Facebook PPC - Still Alive?
I give you one powertip to cut down your ppc bid prices. This is only taught in paid trainings so take advantage of it.
When you define your targeting make sure to include a developing country which has huge population but they are less likely to click on your ads. This will decrease your bid prices dramatically.
Try India at first.

Re: Facebook PPC - Still Alive?
Cool. Thanks for the tip. But, do I want all the people in India clicking on my ad? This was a very niche focussed ad.

It is worth a test but the more focused it is the less likely that they will click.

Re: Facebook PPC - Still Alive?
Norton, what is the point of having them click if they aren't your target audience?
Why pay for a click that is unlikely to lead to a sale?
TJ
As I said I have been doing some FB ad research.
I have learned that you should Ignore FB's suggestions for cost. Bid at least 50 cents lower than they suggest. If you want, simply bid very low and then go up by 10 cent increments until you get the impressions you want.
Good luck

Re: Facebook PPC - Still Alive?
Hi Betsy,
Your comment makes so much sense. There is no point having a huge audience that I am not targeting. Also, I did not know that at all. The next time I am going to do what you said start 50 cents lower and then increase it in 10 cent increments.
Thank you for your comment.
Asuran: Being less likely to click is fine with me - I pay per click. The point is to have only those people click who will actually benefit from the solution being offered.
Not sure if that is what you were saying.

Thanks.
Also for the 10 cent incremental approach, you may want to start even lower than 50 cents below the suggested price.
let me know how it goes.
