My first web site I did for free
I just wanted to let everyone know about my new web site that I created thanks to the information I have been turned on to for FREE. Mike Dillard and Mark and Ferrny , which are some of the people I have met because of Mike's Magnetic Sponsoring System, have propelled me to new levels in marketing. I have new hopes for building a massive business and helping lots of people learn how to get free not only with my primary biz. but with the awsome knowledge I have learned from these awsome dudes on how to efficently market it. Check out my new site at www.WealthLeveraging.com . Until next time , keep learning so you can keep earning. Doug Cox

Hey Doug, welcome to BN!
As for your site, please go back and read http://www.MLMTrafficFormula.com if you have a copy, or pick one up.
Things that need to change on your site:
1: Background color. Stormy grey is not going to help your conversion rates.
2: The headline is not specific enough and has no benefit.
3: Get rid of the all caps text. It's impossible to read.
4: Where's the capture form? Where's the call to action!?!?
5: I DO like the pic.
Doug, I say this with LOVE. You get an "A" for taking action, but an "F--" for the actual execution. Every single marketing rule I give in Traffic Formula has been broken or ignored in this site, and I'd suggest starting over from scratch.

Re: My first web site I did for free
Hey Doug,
Just to add to what Mike said in #4 above. I see so many people doing this online. They hide their opt-in form on contact page that most people will never see. I would do what Mike suggests about studying traffic formula. But while you're doing that, make a quick change on your site and make the contact page the home page.
Blue Skies,
Jeff

I agree with Mike and Jeff. Mike I would be interested in your thoughts of http://www.Zdummy.com.

Re: My first web site I did for free
Mark,
Like I told Doug about not hiding the opt-in form the same thing goes for making the site easy to read. Lose the orange background or at least change the background inside the table so the black text is on a white background. Why would you want to make it difficult for someone to read your copy. People will just give up instead of trying to suffer through it.

Re: My first web site I did for free
Hey Mark, I'm walking out the door so this will be quick, and brutal...
Effort "A", Execution "F"
1: Very sloppy formatting and design. Why is the inside of the table where the text is ORANGE?
2: Why do you use red text, on that orange background which basically makes it impossible to read?
3: If this is designed as a capture page, why do you put an AD at the very top!? What's the point of getting traffic to your site, when you put a big fat exit door at the top?
4: You use NINE different fonts and colors throughout the site.... WHY? It's looks sloppy and makes it hard to read.
5: Your bullets promise to show people how and where to build a webpage, but yours looks like this!?
6: I can tell you've been studying copywriting which is GOOD, but the site itself is SLOPPY and unprofessional. Remember what I said in Traffic Formula... A site doesn't need fancy graphics, but it has to be formatted to perfection for top results.
I don't like to be harsh, but this is the reality of the situation and hopefully my suggestions and honesty will prompt you to a higher level of greatness. Make the changes and get back to me.

Wow,
talk about getting it straight from the horse's mouth!
And I have to agree about the orange! Waaayyy too much.
Make life easy for people - yes your site has to be eye catching, and you want it to grab their attention... but in a 'good' way. Having folks back off from their computer screens when the page loads isn't a good tactic.
