My company uses Home Kickoffs or Home Meetings to help start a new distributors business to help identify prospective partners from their warm market.
If you do the same or something similar, what are your best invitations and methods of invites?
What format works best for you, live flip chart presentations, powerpoint presentations or DVD's?
Are you finding in home presentations are working for you or are webinars working just as well or better?
Do you have a regular schedule for webinars in your group?
If so, do you have a rotation of speakers or is the same person presenting all the time?
What methods of followup and closing are you using with the prospects?

Presently our company is using powerpoint & DVD's. Webinars are running Tuesday, Thursday and saturday am.
Webinars rotate through different speakers which is nice.
F/U is with email then phone call

we're moving more toward social networking since more people have their guards down online. Our company just started the first and only social networking site in the industry. Paul Allen from Microsoft said it was the first original platform he's seen. Home meetings and hotel seminars will be a thing of the past in a few years. The battle is getting people to attend having the feeling their going to be cornered.
Social networking allows a broader range of interaction and ultimately expand your warm market. You can check out what my profile page looks like with this angle at www.billnissen.info
If you are going to do home meetings, build toward them with personal interaction...1 on 1. Few people will respond to a postcard invite.
