Question-When you first started this business and you were promised instant success, how long was it before you were disappointed?

If you're like me, You believed all the hype. You really thought that this was going to be easier than it was, and that anyone who came in contact with your websites would follow the statistics. 5% will become leads. 33% will buy your book, 33% of that will buy your system, and so on. We should have all been able to retire shortly after we started if the statistics were really accurate and the system really worked all on it's own.

The point is, Anyone can post ads on google or yahoo and pay a ton of money to get people to their website, but if you're not attracting the right type of people, You'll NEVER make any money in this business. In my first 2 months, I pushed close to 3000 people to my website, and it only cost me around $4000 to do so. If the statistics would have played out correctly, I should have made around $18, 655 and been well on my way to retirement by age 26.

I'm not even going to tell you exactly how much I made, because it's downright embarrassing. My entire family, friends, and my GF was telling me to give up. After 2 more months with absolutely no results, I was seriously contemplating giving up on this whole thing and counting my losses. Only for a minute.

Then I remembered that A LOT of other people had been in my shoes before. I decided that I was determined enough to figure out exactly how this was done. I already knew and fully understood the concepts and ideas behind ATTRACTION MARKETING, but I couldn't actually implement them.

When You First started did you know how to-

-build a website?

-build a list?

-create e-mail auto-responders?

-write quality Ad copy?

-share the right kind of knowledge with people to get them to trust you?

Basically, did you know how to run your business using the Attraction Marketing methods that were given to you by some wonderful e-book?

Probably not!

If you don't know what ATTRACTION MARKETING is, then your first step is to learn! Go find yourself a book to read about it, and make sure it's by a reputable Author! I've personally read 3 different books on this subject and by far Mike Dillard's is the best! One of the best things you can do for yourself and your business is to learn all about Attraction marketing!

Jordan, you sure can generate quality headlines... but forums are not a place for stories and affiliate links.

Wristband... (?) are you asking for help?

Common Sense say's if people can't generate leads then they can't earn money. . .

So many people are excited about their Product / Service / Business but don't know 'How To' Market. . .

It's a shame that people struggle with this because i know that if this wasn't a problem then more people would be living the life that they desire which is very important. . .

My believe is that ANYONE can do ANYTHING. . . . .

If they had the RIGHT Coaching/Training/Mentoring call it what you like! but, things would be different for a lot of people

If you don't know how to get there then how on earth can you show someone else how to get there?

Like stated above, if your going about telling stories in forums then throwing out an affiliate links it's not the correct way to go to build leads.

Here are some friendly suggestions from one MLSP and magnetic sponsoring person to another

1) Don't openly display your affiliate link. Especially in a post begging for people to click an affiliate link. At minimum hyperlink it so people do openly see that your pushing an affiliate link. Mask Forward it or buy another domain. If you really had understood magnetic sponsoring you would have understood that you don't go around shooting out your company/affiliate links

2) I believe your using the incorrect tracker key terms but if it works for you.

3) Especially here on better networker, if you shoot out an affiliate link "IN" the actual post your going to get some head shaking.

4) 5% conversion is NOT very good. I'm assuming you wanted to write "50%" from traffic to leads? If your paying for traffic and your getting 1000 clicks and only getting 50 leads you better be converting super high. 33% conversion to purchase and system is good though so keep that up.

I understand Jordan where you are coming from. Some of the replies to your anguish is real selfish because they failed to remember they too had to start somewhere, like yourself. First of all, instant success is not promised to any of us that have to earn it. The marketers that are generating 5, 6, 7 & more residual income are those that have positioned themselves a long time ago, so they are not in your situation trying to general quality leads for your business. What I suggest you do is continue to read Magnetic Sponsoring because the solution to your problem lies with the pages. You stated you understood the concept, so target the right market and you will generate leads. To you continue success.

If you are not afraid of the Truth. I will tell you my Story and how I finely went from no one to converting10 percent of my leads. And I do not buy leads my Advertising cost is 20.00 a month. And I do not build websites. How I went 2 years going 19,598 in Debt buying leads to 41 joining me in one year.

Well the first thing that came to mind for me after reading your post is have you reached out to your team or sponsor to ask what they are doing to generate leads. If there is no system in place than maybe you should continue ask others in your upline this question.

The other issue is that you probably are not finding your target market, this is very important. I am not talking about your warm market of friends and family either.

Generating leads is important. No doubt. Most of the posts on this forum are about generating leads...But is that the end?...NO!!

It's not about GENERATING leads...the bottom line is CONVERTING leads to sales...I don't care if you're generating 3000 leads. If you're not converting them to sales, if you're not eventually enrolling them in your prime MLM, what's the freakin' point?
