Hi everyone,

I'm looking for some advice about lead capture pages. How many should a person have? I'm thinking several are necessary, and then having different campaigns for each page.

Since I'm relatively new to capture pages any advice would be welcome and thank you!

Joanne you are correct.
The top dogs do this on a large scale.

Figure out a systematic process that will allow you to crank these out as fast as possible.
There are a bunch of systems out there, but you can also do it on your own or shop it out.

Depending on how you plan on using the landing pages, you can pretty much use the same one for each key word, such as a list of mlm company names for instance, that you want to target and simply insert Company X name in your headline and a few places in the body copy and that's it. This is especially effective in ppc marketing. If you are more concerned with seo for your landing pages then build each one out with fairly unique content for each page and follow standard good seo practices.

Seeing that you are new and unless you have some pretty good html skills, I would get a subscription to a system or shop this out to a designer on eLance, Guru, GetAFreelancer or any other outsourcing network.

Personally, I maintain only one (1) lead capture page for each target crowd. That's it.

What you'd like to diversify on a large scale are your traffic sources.

I too only use one capture page for each targeted area. I have found that if the capture page is not targeted enough, my conversion rate suffers. But if I am too narrow, I need to watch out for my marketing time that I put into each area because with too many capture pages, I found that I start to ignore some of them.

You ask a good question and have received some good answers. When you think about your lead capture page, think in terms of your audience. Who are you wishing to connect with, what is the message and what action do you want your audience to take? Work backwards from there. Each page you develop should not only be unique to that particular target audience, but should also have it's own unique set of autoresponder messages connected with it. There are many free squeeze page generators and sites to build simple web pages. Make sure though that you can thoughtfully choose the domain name for each page. Just like the rest of the page, what it's called will also be a factor in your responses and conversion rate.

I have 10 different developed capture pages I have access too. Developing more. But we'll see.

I don't think you will need 10-20 lead capture pages.. Sorry if I'm wrong..
I think the best way is to have one good site, a site with your story and a pictures or better a video of yourself, and concentrate about only one site.

Of course should you have a blog, on wordpress, and maybe Myspace/ blogger but i think the best way is to have only one capture site who works, and just promote this one everywhere

I have two site's: one in English, and also one in Norwegian because it is there i live.. But i have 5 blog's who pointing to my capture sits in all directions This works for me, and i think it will for you also..
perhaps two or three is the optimal?
