iJango, A Ponzi Scheme?

iJango, A Ponzi Scheme?

I'm not a regulator or an expert in Ponzi Schemes, but I did find the definition very interesting.

Here is a definition of a Ponzi Scheme from the U.S. Commodity and Futures Trading Commission:

Ponzi Scheme: Named after Charles Ponzi, a man with a remarkable criminal career in the early 20th century, the term has been used to describe pyramid arrangements whereby an enterprise makes payments to investors from the proceeds of a later investment rather than from profits of the underlying business venture, as the investors expected, and gives investors the impression that a legitimate profit-making business or investment opportunity exists, where in fact it is a mere fiction.

Now, here is what the president of iJango said to the BBB about their business model:

Mr. Smith and his staff indicated that they offer a business opportunity; however, they do not make any lifestyle promises based on earning potential. Similarly, he indicated that the only promise the business makes to potential clients is to pay for the recruitment of registered customers and the recruitment of others to do the same.

Sound similar? What do you think?

Wow Dennis, I really do not know just what to say about iJango. However, I did Google it and from what I read, it sounds like something I would stay away from. I know that there will be a lot of people that will certainly disagree with me about this. I read about pre-launch opportunities quite a bit. I would agree that there are many legitimate ones, however I really try to do my homework regarding new companies that are in pre-launch.

I am just going to wait to see what the gurus have to say about this.

Best of luck,

Tom Leighton

P.S. I keep thinking about World Com and what happened to them. :( I almost became a part of that!

This totally reminds me of Buzzirk. All sizzle no substance. Lets just get distributors in here as fast as possible and have them pay. There is no real product here and this one will go the way on ASD eventually.

People need to seriously stay away from these pre launch pyramids that have no real product and that are just a money game.

The scam artist here is Dennis, the original poster.

Dennis, you need to stop plagiarizing my blog posts and then posting your prelaunch link at the bottom of them.

There is such a thing as the Association of Better Networkers on this site. Might want to look into it.

I have heard of iJango. One of my good friends who is a millionaire is in iJango and says it is incredible. Me personally I don't really like MLMs. I actually looked into iJango and it looks like a pretty good opportunity.
