Hi All I started me MLM Business in May 2009. Was absolutely excited in my first 2 months and did what everyone was telling me to do. Now 4 months later Im in trouble used all the money that I had infact more than I wanted to for this and is not making it happen anymore. yes I get the leads the sign ups but nothing happens after that. I get lots of guests to the meetings but no one signs up. I get some retail leads from the internet but no one buys. Im now in depression state and need help so desperatley as I really want to succeed and get money. I wanted to buy the Magnetic Sponsoring but I'm so confused about what to buy. I read about the Black Belt recruiting,building with a budget and so many other stuff that I dont know where to start. All I want is to get out my debt of R100 000.00 and to make about R20 000.0 a month.

My apologies if I sound like I'm complaining all I need is some help and guidance so that I can change other people lives with what I got by making this work for me. Thank you in advance.

I can certainly appreciate your frustration when you haven't seen the results that you want to achieve. You haveobviously been working hard if you're bringing people to meetings. In his training, Mike Dillard talks about the importance of attraction marketing. You attract the kind of business based on your attitude. I pick up desperation in your post and your leads and prospects will pick it up as well. You need to change your attitude and focus on what you are creating in your life, rather than what's missing.

You'll need to be much more specific if you'd like some help... What websites are you using, where are your leads and prospects coming from? What is the business and products?

Mike is right, we need more information in order to help you effectively...it's very clear that you've been working very hard and that you expected some very quick results for your efforts. Many new entrepreneurs have high expectations for "quick" money. Sometimes that happens but, more often than not you need to build your business over time.

There are many great tools available to us today. Magnetic Sponsoring, Marketing Merge, Renegade Pro, etc., have helped and continue to help people in their journey to success. You will learn from these programs, but it still takes time to build your opportunity and content online.

Hey Rayhanna,

Many MLMers have been where you are now and many are still there. I'm not trying to be negative just truthful.

Throwing money into mlm won't help you make money, but it will help you go broke. If you have read 3 books on the subject you have read it all just different wording.

Andrea is right about desperation in your writing and if we can pick it up in your writing surely your prospects can pick it up in you speaking and the expression on your face.

Buying more book aren't going to help. You are the only one that can help you. The first thing you must do is quit spending money. People in debt are always desperate and there are only a few people that can operate under that kind of pressure.

You didn't say what business or products you are working with and it really doesn't matter because MLM is a peoples business. Meetings are good for the dealer but most aren't worth anything for recruiting. You should have your prospective member recruited before taking them to the meetings.

If your upline hasn't taught you how to get someone to sign up get with them and tell them to teach you. Most of them thinks they know it all and want to demonstrate their knowledge and ability to entice someone to signup. You have seen with your own eyes it isn't true. You, the dealer is the best one to sign up your prospect.

Before you pick up the phone to contact prospective customers and/or recruits you need to clear your mind of your needs and put their needs first and foremost in your mind. You don't think about how much you need the sale, You think about how much your prospect needs the product and the extra money they can make if they will join your business.

When you get that down, pick up the phone and make your calls or go visit those you have appointments with.

You can do it. You are just as important as your upline and more so in the eyes of your prospects.

Now find a quite place and practice clearing you mind of the desperation and the negative thoughts and put your prospect needs and wants first.

Let me guess.

I think it's Herbalife, health products etc, and you're building list of friends, families, maybe prospects in mauls, and taking them to open meetings and home meetings?

Some get excited and leave and disappear or not interested?

Maybe I'm wrong, so give us more details please.

It be important if you can share where your leads are coming from? Are you buying the leads? Is it just building a list of families and friends? etc..

Give as much information as you can so people can help with a better knowledge of what you're doing. At moment it's a bit vague.

Hi All Thank you for your responses. I am an Independent Herbalife Distributor who promotes Nutritional Products that help people with their health i.e Lose Weight,Gain or Maitain their weight. I live in South Africa . Because The products changed my life and I know the value of it I dont promote the product thinking about how much money Im going to make So No Dollars Signs in my head when I make retail call or when I speak to people. on the retail side my leads come from a FREE internet sites called gumtree and I use google adwords but here everyone in our team does google . I also have a table where I stand on a friday and Sunday in a shopping centre and prospect for leads.Here I basically have a small display of the products and some before and after pics.Making a sale here is no problem as people see the results for themselves. when a lead comes from the internet I send them to my webitse to complete a diet analysis and once I have all their info I call them up and read from a script that my uplines given me some times I call them directly without sending them to my website.

With recruiting I use MXIT and Free internet adverts. i basically have 2 ads one either inviting them directly to an opportunity meeting and the other to my website allowing them to request a free info cd which I post.

my ads read as follows:
Managers/Supervisors Wanted
International Company expanding in SA
Reply for more info

When they reply I send a respose sending them to my website

The other will read
Extra Income Opportunity
Free Showcase on Tuesday at time and place
Ask for Rayhanna and my phone number

Generally I only get to meet the people after the meeting. All I ask is if they see an opportunity and tell them my story. both my ads is placed in the jobs wanted section

Most of the time I have lots of guests at the meetings but nobody signs up.

As for retail they either say they going to deposit the money and never do.

so yes Im a little stressed out at the moment becuase I dont know where Im going wrong.

my upline tells me Im not doing enough activity and I need to make cash flow to keep me in the game but Im so confused coz no matter how much leads I get its not enough. At 1 time I was givin leads away to my upline and downline because I couldnt cope.All those leads came from MXit a chat site on your mobile where you can place an advert on and people respond. Ive actually changed my ad to include the price but still no sales.

I dont know if its me or what I say or how I say it. i always have lots of excitement in my voice when i chat to people.maybe Im targetting the wrong market.

i hope I covered all your questions. Any advice will help desperatley.

Mike please can you tell me which training can I purchase thats going to get me going again. you have so many that Ive come across and I dont want to purchase the wrong one.

i need a boost please some one help.

First off, too much advice from too many people is NOT more useful than no advice On this forum, the $40 magnetic sponsoring might be the only common advice... so that would be basic education to go for.

Next, seek your online mentor. Check some profiles here and start establishing rapport. If you're serious, you'll know when you connect with the right mentor. Get one to one. Set bit sized goals and do them daily... weekly... and you'll turnaround in a short while.

Lastly, congratulations! You are on the curve we've all been on so you'll get where the successful people got. The route to success (S) is through failure (F). It's not like what we learned at school - where you either succeed (pass) or fail (fail).
