I have tried Craigslist ads with very minimal success. Do you post in the "Jobs" section or the "business for sale" section? What kids of things do you say? Do you mention the name of your company? Can you give an example of a generic ad that you might use?

I have had some success in the past with Craigslist, but it became too much a pain to post there. In the US in the services section you have to have an e-mail attached to a phone verified number. Unless you know a lot of friends who will let you use their phone number, you have to buy phone verified number. There is no way around this. If you post too much or in too many areas your account will be suspended.

I think the jobs section you have to pay to post, I can be wrong on this. Even if you post here you have to be very clear that you not offering a traditional type of job. Most of the people looking for jobs there are looking for a traditional type of job. If you are not upfront with this, you will end up making most people angry with you rather than having them join your team.

If you can post on Craigslist you can get leads, but you have to very careful there. I decided to not post there because of all the crazy restrictions.

Great advice i find graiglist to be a very helpful place for sourcing leads for my business every day.

I also generate tons of fresh leads per day with twitter, myspace and facebook.

These are great sites for traffic if you use them the right way.
