Ezine Advertising

Postby Paul Edwards on Tue Jan 26, 2010 6:32 am

Hi Everyone,

Can anyone recommend some Ezines to advertise on? I have tried a few with a combination of adverts but not had much response. I have split tested what I have done to date to try and squeeze the best out of it but I would like to try a few more.

Many thanks for your help

Hi Paul I am somewhat surprised that this post has not recieved more attention, I would have thought that this would have been a topic that many on here are very familiar with. I have just started looking into ezinearticles and I definitely get the feeling that a 'softly softly catchee monkey' type of approach is required for this particular type of marketing.
I just went into Google and typed in 'article marketing forum' and I was surprised that for once Google came up with......... zero!
Maybe we should start a seperate forum on here? (call it what you will) I think that I will put that idea forward (unless of course you want to?).
Anyway now that the sun has come up in the USA maybe you might get some more answers to your questions? Good luck, regards Jim T.

Paul,

I'd really recommend if you are looking to expand on ezine advertising.....go join the directory of ezines. I have been a member forever and it is worth its weight in gold. Tons of good info in there, not just about ezine advertising.

Thanks for the comments guys,

I was thinking about joining the DOE, I just wasn't sure if it was worth the price tag. Do you have much luck with Ezines yourself? Without recommendations it is literally a minefield....

Many thanks for the feedback.

Paul,

I do use ezines, but you are right, they can be tough.

Honestly, the best ezine marketer I know is Daegan Smith.

He has a very thorough approach on how to reduce your risk with ezine advertising and improve your chances of "winning" with them, all prior you to laying down $$ with them.

I believe he goes over his approach in his $1 trial course for

http://Maximum-Leverage.com

I know he did with the full version I went through last summer.

Here is my suggestion for the week. I did one blast with :Www.MySuperSolo.Com and pulled 14 leads on a SUNDAY. Best of all, For $30 they offer 20 blasts. Those 14 on Sunday actually cost me like $2.00
I am definately looking forward to my next 19 blasts. The list is smaller, around 11k i believe but they seem really responsive.

I am a big fan of solo ads and below are some i have used

and had success with but for you it can be different but

you will need to test them and see the results you get

Demc ( a MONSTER for me)
topsurfer solo ad
gotsafelist solo ad
rent-a-list
planetx mail

Also mentioned an a previous post daegan smith does use a ton
of different solo ads and he has many in the maximum leverage
backoffice
