I need to lose 25-30 pds...LOL I was just wondering if anyone here on BN is using this program and what their results where? I know it has a MLM element through beach body so please do not try and pitch me on the business end, just some real results of the product...

To be honest, I haven't used it. But my brother has and he's lost some weight. I also have a few friends who have dropped anywhere from 10-20 lbs using it.

I'm not sure if you are into weight training or not, but the only bad thing they said about the program is that if you are use to weight training and using heavy weights, after you've used the program, your strength will go down.

I think it's because you're mainly using your body weight and lighter dumbbells, instead of using heavy weights.

But anyway, it will get you in shape, so I say go for it.

Marty - my wife and I purchased the P90X program last year from a TV ad. It starts out by having you take measurements and runs you through a set of timed exercises to help determine your current level of fitness. Then you start. IF you can make it through the entire session... it will take 45 minutes to slightly more than an hour. For me is was VERY CHALLENGING and I had to go back and invest in a less intensive program first. I mean it kicked my butt. Good luck. Have fun with it. You will need a chin up bar, bands and a few light weight dumb bells to get the full benefit of the program.

They have the Power 90 that is not suppose to be as hard. I may be leaning towards that.

I have trained tons... But not with real heavy weights...

I have used it some. I followed the diet book that came with it and lost almost 20 pounds. So without doing the exercises I lost weight I am sure if I had done the exercises I would have lost more and look better than I am now.

The workouts are difficult, but do your best and forget the rest You can also modify them some or take breaks if you need to. It is a great workout to do.

I will start doing the exercises soon myself.

Its an advanced program and its not really for beginners although because its the most popular program from Beachbody.com, people use it. For most folks starting out, I would recommend the regular Power 90.

If you follow the program every day...even if you don't do it exactly right you'll do more than lose weight...you'll get seriously ripped to the bone


As far as the MLM side is concerned, I was very surprised when they went to a network marketing programs and its working very well.

Thanks for the response I think I will go with the power 90 program to begin with. I worked out tons when I was younger did'nt we all, but I have not been serious about fitness for many years now. Power 90 looks like a great build up to P90X.

"Bring It!" That makes me think of another aspect of wanting to do Power 90 or P90X. Does doing these workouts help you "Bring it" in your business/Life?

Chances are that I'll prob re-enter the network marketing arena in Team Beachbody. With all of the commericials they run on TV, most people don't even look at IBO's as your typical Amway salesman which I like along with the fact that the starter kit is 39.95 and 14.95 a month afterwards with a free website.


All I would have to do is put up some of my bodybuilding pictures and voila...I'm off to the races.
