Amazon.com linkage

I joined Amazon's affiliate program but can't figure out how to link a book on my site going over to Amazon. Can anyone help on what steps I'm missing? Thanks.

* Click LINKS/BANNERS from top blue menu
* Select PRODUCT LINKS
* Find your product, copy the code... and away you go!
