When I was a newbie in network marketing, Better Networker was called Magnetic Sponsoring Online and it was a brand new social media website for network marketers by Mike Dillard. Some names that you now see and think of as "Gurus" or "Experts", got there start right here...back then. It was fun and we were a relatively close knit group of people from all around the world.

In the intervening years, my business has grown as have I. I drifted away from BN, only checking in once every few months or so. Facebook and Twitter became my stomping ground, and I have benefited and learned a lot about marketing using social media, in those arenas. But recently I started revisiting BN..lurking around, posting a few comments here and there. And it began to feel like coming home. Tonight I made a definitive decision that it time to renew my contacts on Better Networker and to begin again to contribute to this wonderful community.

So I am home. I would so love to hear your thoughts about Better Networker as it is today. How do you contribute here to help others? How is BN a benefit for you. Do you have strong feelings about the site, the people, the content? I'm catching up and look forward to your thoughts. Thank you!

Hey Deborah,

Cool post. I wish I was involved here back in the day when this site was formed! It seems like the people that were have a cool relationship.

I just joined a couple weeks ago for the purpose of really continuing to learn what it is that people need in this industry. I'm trying to really understand to my fullest what people are looking for, what they are hungry for, and what they need...even if they don't know they need it.

Some really cool people on here!

Welcome back Deborah and its great to connect with you. Better Networker has made many improvement to compliment the whole notion of attraction marketing with lead capture pages on every submission- but clearly looking at your community rating- you already are strong in providing string content to the rest of the network. It think this new lead capture feature helps people to keep content neutral and removes the temptation of spamming on submissions.

William..I'm sure we will meet in person, some day soon! There have been a whole lot of improvements on the site..especially in the last year...I agree that the lead capture option on content allows people who don't completely "trust" attraction marketing, to relax and just write good content, know that they can't pitch a bit in the sidebar. I think it's a great move for BN and a wonderful opportunity for networkers!

I'm with you Deborah. I too have been gone for a long while and contemplated a return. I'm a little bit further behind you, but I have found myself planning to give away my best value to this community again. I love the new features.

In terms of how to give here, I think it's like anything, pick an area that you know best and give it (almost) all away to help others. Basically the same stuff that you've been doing for years now.
