Facebook Ads

Postby Mujibur Rahman on Mon Dec 06, 2010 2:34 pm

Has anyone tried facebook ads?

How do you go about capturing leads?

Facebook seems to disapprove generic lead capture pages and approve just links to facebook pages.

Has anyone else noticed this?

Facebook does approve ads to generic lead capture pages, I have a few campaigns going directly to my MLSP System.

It might be your ad copy or the copy on your capture page that is getting your ad disapproved or if you have a pop up window that comes up when visitors visit your landing page they will not approve your ad.

They tell you why they disapprove Ads, so make sure your read and follow their advertising guidelines

What you can do is promote a fan page and add a web form box

I have made a free tutorial on YouTube "How to install a Lead Capture Page on Your Facebook Fanpage" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yj_XCvGdkKM

And for your Facebook Fanpage you can always advertise with Facebook PPC. I pay $ 0.80 per click and I heard of some that are paying much lower.

This is a good alternative to Google Adwords! :D

That is only my opinion.

I am paying as low as $0.08 per click for a few of my Ads. I send my traffic outside of Facebook to my capture page and to my fanpage as well. Should get lower cost per clicks as i progress and master it.

Yes, it would be great if you could share something about it.

For an audience of a few million people I never get a suggestion under $ 0.80 from Facebook and if I save a CPC under the suggestion I get no visitors.

How did you do this? :o

Wow that's nuts Tristan.

Spill the beans yo :-)

I am just getting into Facebook ads, actually posted a forum post in the PPC forum, didn't realize this dicussion was already happening.

That is some crazy stats with 6 or 8 cents a click. How is your lead conversion if you don't mind me asking? That's really crazy numbers haha.

You just have to keep testing and watching your Ads. The higher your (CTR) click through rate the, lower your Cost per Click (CPC) will be. You want to aim and mentain a .1% or higher CTR then by switching to (CPM) Cost per impression your CPC will go down.

The audience and the interest of people you target factors, if you target the Guru's for instant people who like Mike Dillard, Mike Klinger, Jonathan Bud etc, your cost per click will be high.

You will get a low cpc if you have international countries in your targeting. Outside the U.S bcus I'm in Jamaica... :D

Facebook targeting is not about keywords, not like google. It's LIkes and interest. Find an audience where the competition is low and is converting.

Also choosing images has a large part to play if you are going to get a high CTR. eg if the audience your targeting are men... a nice sexy lady for your image will surly get lots of clicks..nothing x-rated tho ..lol

In Jonathan Budd's Get traffic module 6 training, Anthony Grant is getting Clicks as low as $0.01 which is totally blowing my mind....Ridiculous!!!!

This is gonna sound even more ridiculous, my mlsp capture page is converting at 84.73%, I just need to improve my Lead to sign up conversion % but my list is building fast.

Hope that was helpful
