Well, for me Adsense was the
worst paying monetization model.
I started with Adsense 5 or 6 years ago. In the beginning, I was very thrilled with Adsense. I read all kinds of e-books from Adsense "gurus" and expected to earn lots of money.
In the end I realized that earning with Adsense is very simple - all you need to have is a website with
lots of traffic and high-paying keywords. All other tricks and techniques (ad placements and so on) do not make much difference.
I was running Adsense on 2 of my websites, which received about 5000 visitors a day. My earnings were 200-300$ a month.
I also had other streams of income on my websites:
- I was selling my own products
- I was a reseller of other companies health products
- I tried referrals model
- I had ads on my websites
Compared to Adsense, I earned a five-digit income from other streams of revenue. In the end, I removed Adsense from my websites because I realized that it was taking my customers away from me.
The only place where I still run Adsense is my board, where I don't use any other streams of income. But I am going to change that very soon by selling ad space and so on.
