If you have a fear of rejection and want to be successful in network marketing, you either need to overcome that fear, or forget it.

Fear of rejection is nothing more than selfishness.

If you think about it, if you have a fear of rejection, you care more about your own feelings than what it is that the prospect actually needs.

If you believe in network marketing, you know it can change lives.

If you believe in your product enough to have joined the opportunity, why wouldn't you share it with everyone you know?

I have built teams of thousands of people using the power of the Internet and it took me a long time to overcome my fear of rejection to where I could talk to everyone, including people in my own community.

When I examined why I was afraid of rejection, I realized that it was not the fear of being rejected, it was my pride.

Since I have overcome that fear, no on rejects me or treats me bad when I tell them about my opportunity.

Not all of them join, but I do not care if they join.

I care about them.

Overcoming selfishness is sometimes hard, but in order to do it, you have to first recognize it and then get you out of the way.

When you do that, you will be on your way to success.

Good post and video... because it's true.

I've found this business to be all about relationships. That's it. The product, company and comp plan have very little do with anything. It's all about YOU and living into the YOU you are capable of being. Learn what you need to know about your company, product and comp plan... then practice, drill and rehearse... what to say and how to say it. Acquire the SKILL of prospecting. Then it's just business as usual versus feeling rejected.

Great video and excellent advice! I've never looked at fear of rejection that way but I agree with you about it being connected to our own pride and selfishness. Hmmm? Something to think about.
