I'm betting not.
Because there are little voices inside our heads that tell us we can't do this or that. Want an example? How about "I am not a sales person"? Knowing that nobody makes money until a sale is made we still listen to those little voices that say "I can't sell" or "you don't have to sell anything".
But if we were prepared to do whatever it takes to be successful wouldn't the first step to doing that would be to get the best sales training you can get?
Knowing of course that no money is made until a sale is made.
So are you prepared to do whatever it takes or not?

You are right Joyce...most people won't do "what it takes" in order to be successful in their life and business. Even though people won't do "what it takes" they still wonder why success isn't coming their way. When that little voice in your head says that what you are trying to do can't be done, then it can't be done because you already let that voice dictate the outcome...before you even get started.

Stepping out of a comfort zone can be a tough thing to do especially when sales has such a negative connotation to it.

You raise a very good question Joyce!
Courage is the ability to persist with your objectives and take action even in the face of fear. Being courageous forces you to pursue your objectives despite fear. Don't be afraid to be afraid and don't let fear stop you from doing what you need to do. Be courageous and do whatever it takes to succeed. It's all about having a positive attitude so trust your instincts, skills and judgment and face the challenge head on.
Courage is doing what you're afraid to do. There can be no courage unless you're scared. ~Edward Vernon Rickenbacker

Good question Joyce, but the no so good answer is, ''yes, as long as ....'' There is usually a long string of excuses or conditions attached to process of going through pain to get gain. Is there a short cut to success without having to work for it? The only place I know of where you can find success before work or gain before pain is in the Dictionary ...any edtion

Re: Are you prepared to do whatever it takes?
I think the most important thing is consistency. If one puts a 1-2 hours into their business daily (part-time), these efforts add up. Without consistency, days can go by with absolutely no progress.
I make a list every morning of my tasks to complete in my home business. Sometimes I do not get everything done, but most days I do.
Doing whatever it takes can also mean going out of ones' comfort zone, which is not easy. I think doing whatever it takes in ones' comfort zone is important to do first. Many do not even do this.
I do believe that stepping out of ones' comfort zone after this can be important in achieving ones' goals. For me though, cold-calling and the three foot rule will never happen!

Hi Michelle. Thanks for your comment and I agree with you that getting out of our comfort zones is crucial.
But is this quote the little voices that are keeping you IN your comfort zone?
