The first 6 months...

Postby theodore rhoades on Wed Mar 09, 2011 11:32 pm

Hey everyone,

I just have a general question when it comes to joining a company for the first time. This may go in many directions, but what action steps would be needed to be taken in the first 6 months? You can just list one thats fine. Thank you!

Get Leads
Get downline members
Train your downline members
Record your training so that you don't have to physically train the rest of your downline (just send them the video)
Set up an ad co-op
Take a vacation (you need it)
Train leaders
Begin putting as many steps on autopilot as possible
Keep Rocking,
Rob

I would say utilizing marketing tactic(s) that come naturally to you..E.g. If you are good in writing , then you should capture leads through article marketing . If you think you get this amazing energy in front of a camera , then go into video marketing ..If you like Facebook and social media /connecting with and socializing with people online , then use the basic FB marketing tactics or even forums for that matter .

The objective is always to get leads as fast as possible and covert those leads to into sales/signups but whatever you do , it is always advisable to choose marketing tactics that come naturally to you atleast for the first 6 months..

Make a 6 months marketing plan if you need ..
(1) List down marketing strategies/tactics you will utilize( FB Marketing ,forum marketing ,Article Marketing etc)
(2) Daily Action Plan ( E.g. 1 hours in forums , 2 hours of FB Marketing etc etc)

Measure your results weekly( Leads/Sales Conversion Ratio)..this will tell you what is working for you and what is not..then tweak your daily action plan accordingly and include daily action steps that are most profitable for you..

Hope this helps..

Good question but the first thing you need to ask yourself is how quickly do you want to be successful.

Quickly?

T-A-L-K to people, lots of people, all the time. And no I'm not saying you should be pushing your product/company. I'm saying you should talk, listen, ask questions and see if you've got a solution for them. Then offer it to them.

Works every time - whatever your marketing technique is - offline or online.

Hello Theodore,

Most programs have autoship so you want to
make sure that you are on autoship. You will
want to lead by example and do what you expect
the people that you sponsor do. I would
encourage you to really study about success and
to work on yourself every day because your
business will only become as good as you are.
Develop a deep belief that you deserve to succeed
and work on eliminating the idea of failure. You
deserve to succeed as much as anyone else.
Never judge anyone. Share from the heart with
everyone and keep it simple. Never try to convince
others. If people say no then ask if you can follow
up with them and put them in an autoresponder
system. Keep things simple because how you share
with others is what others will believe that they
will have to do. Be sure that what you are
involved in is a passion of yours. This will keep you
going through the valleys that everyone goes
through in business. Also make sure that you
know why you are doing what you are doing.
If your why is big enough everything else will
fall into place. Make things fun because life is
short. Have a great day!

Peace, Health and Prosperity,

Be a genuine person NO MATTER WHAT! Some people feel that a lot of things are scams, so reassure them confidently. Thats often more important in the beginning because it will show off better towards the end, i think. Thats what works for me.

I would definitely recommend that you create your own personal blog and write info about you. Tell people who you are, why you're doing this etc

Internet Marketing is all about branding yourself, remember people will buy into YOU not your business. So it's important how you come across and what you say.

The most important thing you can do when starting internet marketing, and this applies to whatever you have as a product, from information on how to play golf to Tiger Woods or selling poppy seeds to the Afghans (low of high ticket) .you get the drift :-)

SELL YOURSELF FIRST !!!!

No product will sell, unless u=you sell YOURSELF first!

Spend every moment you have to BUILD THAT LIST by implementing any kind of marketing which you are comfortable doing....

Then spend every other spare moment you have learning proper strategy.......and stick to it.

What ever you do DO NOT waste time hovering from one thing to the other...all this does is end up gettign you no where and you will give up before you even started.

SO recap

Pick a marketing strategy
Learn that marketing strategy
Implement that marketing strategy

Once you have mastered that strategy ...and only once you have learnt it backwards, sideways and blind folded ...only then, add another strategy and do the same!

These are all great answers, but my question is, do you have training from your company as well as your upline? I hope so, it's very important!
