An interesting question.
The author gives a very simple answer. Women are paid to do simple daily tasks: washing, to eat, care for children and a husband. While men have only global things: they either build the world or destroy. And in MLM, it must be simple everyday tasks.
Although there with the Russians. To me it’s like a family and vice versa. And as with others?

I am not absolutely sure what you are saying here. The world has changed my friend. Women are not just here to wash and to provide the food. And men for that matter are not just here to provide the living. In many cases a woman takes care of her family without a man.
As for the question you pose, why few men, that is completely not true. Although, its true that 80% of network marketing are women. There are many you can look to as leaders both women and men.

This is the first time me reading this "80% of network marketers are women"
I don't know how true that is.....You may be right
I guess i'm mostly going by what I see at events and online.
It seems like there alot more men then women
or it could be more women but more successful network marketing men.
I guess.

Re: Why Network Marketing have few men?
I must agree that women are better at network marketing. They do socialize more than men. They do shop more and mingle more than anybody.
Women are on the phones all the times. You see women on the cell phones talking all the times as they walk along the streets.
Some times I have to warn some women not to text and walk so much. They are not aware of their surroundings.
We call it networking where it used to be called gossip.
Women have the gift of gab and are used to talking all day to their friends.

Re: Why Network Marketing have few men?
Interesting Rem...
Not sure what the stats are, and we know you were talking in general cultural concepts, and meant no disrespect...I don't know whether I would agree though that 80% of network marketers are women, but overall I would say that there are generally more women network marketers.
Maybe the concept of the "global" vs. "homestead" argument might have some bearing, but one of the things that contradict it is that (generally speaking) men have a tendency to define themselves through "work", where women generally define themselves through "family". For instance - Ask a man to tell you about himself, he will tell you he is a bricklayer, and has worked for "john-does" for so many years, and in time, gets to the family....Ask a women to tell you about themselves, and they usually begin with family, such as "I am married with three beautiful kids. We live at this place, etc...". Because of this, you would THINK that more men would be network marketers, but maybe this isn't the case?
Maybe Network Marketing is an outlet for many women that may be at home already (doing the "more-than-full-time" task of home-making), to get out and independently show their strengths in a more professional role?
Anyway, interesting point, but I am not sure that the stats are true enough to support it...
Have a great night!

Re: Why Network Marketing have few men?
I will answer the question that is in the title.
Although we must be aware there are exceptions to every rule. Also what is stated is only statistics that scientist have recorded. Most women are emotional while men tend to go to logic. A woman will enjoy the nice flowers and trees while going into a building from their car. A man will tend to get from point A to point B the fastest possible even if it means to walk on a bed of flowers. LOL
It is the emotional natural part of a woman that will tend to build relationships better than most men. And what is the vital technique we must all have in network marketing? Building relationships with people. Again this does not account to every man or woman. However, it does help in discovering our own natural weakness and strengths.
We also must know that it is both the emotional and the logical we need in harmony to be better people in network marketing. We need the logical leaders who will lead us and the emotional relationship builders who will know how to build relationships that can help us build our team. All this can be found in both men and women.
