According to a good friend of mine, after you have four leads in your autoresponder, you should host your first webinar.
Seriously: four leads.
What do you think?
Have you hosted a webinar before?
What did you do on your webinar?
And do people respond to novice network marketers who host webinars?
(I'll share my own answers soon).

What do you think? Host a webinar whenever!! I don't care if no one shows up just do it.
Have you hosted a webinar before? Of course I have once or twice a week I do.
What did you do on your webinar? depends what kind of webinar I am doing but for the most part provided passion, value and energy.
And do people respond to novice network marketers who host webinars? it really doesn't matter. just host it and eventually they will come.

Re: When Should you Begin Hosting Webinars?
Hey Rob,
If you have something of value to offer your list then most definitely host your webinar! Even if no one shows up it will "force" you to go through the process with a scheduled time and place so that you get a few under your belt, get a chance to play with technology, etc. etc. Another thing you can do is record them and later offer them as a bonus, info product, opt-in carrot, training series, etc. etc. get creative and if you want to experiement with webinars, everyone has to start somewhere
Sign up for a few webinars with some of the leaders you resinate with and study EVERYTHING they do and use what you like (not content but process) and tweak what might work better for you and highlight your personal strengths... I think if you want to do a webinar go hard! I have found experiential learning is priceless...
Best of luck to you my friend.
Cheers,
Sherri

@Linda I'm not clear on what you mean...
@Michelle First webinar I hosted no one showed up... and I just did it. Completely seriously.
@Sherri Yep. It's one of those things that has zero downside.

Re: When Should you Begin Hosting Webinars?
I think Webinars are a waste of time because it requires a lot of resources and toolsto do a great one and most people end up putting those who listen to sleep after a few minutes
My advice would be to do pre-taped question and answer videos. They are practically a breeze to do as you read off a script the question and answer then you refer back to your website. They should be no longer than 3 minutes. I used to do these all the time and I'll prob start back again in a few months
Make sure you have all the right tools needed:
1. Any Type of Video Camera and Tripod.....Very Affordable these days
2. Green Screen for the background...Cheap
3. Video Editing Software for background drop to look professional as well as a simple introduction and ending credits....You can get GNU software which is free. No one wants to see where you live, trust me unless you live a nice place.
4. Lighting....If you can't afford studio lighting then go to Lowes and get two 500 watt Halogen Work Lights with stands. They are 24.98 apiece and they work just as well as those 200 dollar studio lights.
5. Teleprompter software so you can read the script off...You can find it on ebay for a few bucks.
6. Shirt and Tie...look like you mean business...you don't see news reporters wearing polo shirts or a Pink Floyd T-Shirts.
The hardest part is the video editing but you can always find someone who can help you with that. Afterwards you can recycle it for future videos and expand your depth. Also since its considered a production video once you put that up, its highly unlikely Google will give you a slap for it. And if they do then tell them to cram it with walnuts and just get Vimeo as you would have saved all of your information so you can place it anywhere.
Hope that helps, best of luck to you.
P.S. If you guys like what I wrote then give me Hell Yea!
