My biggest one was - "You are not worthy of being rich." Being raised by an alcohol father does that to you.
How about: "My upline didn't help me." I've gone from crooks to hypocritical uplines to good ones.
Here's another one: "Nobody would give me anything for free." Don't know if I ever subscribed to that one but I definitely searched for free stuff.
Here's the beaut of lack mentality: "The gurus screwed me." (See: my upline won't help me) Definitely didn't ever sign up for that class. They worked hard, paid their dues, they deserve to be making the big bucks, and I never met one that didn't give a ton of value with every purchase.
Here's the granddaddy of all: "There are two types of people. Those who get rich and those who do good." Isn't that a big one and how many of us believed that right down to the core of our beings?
I think the middle three are most often verbalized and on the face of it are just a way to pass the buck from "the one who is lacking success" to someone else. That's a problem right there - taking responsibility.
The first and last ones are getting a bit closer to what is actually the problem. That's when "you" needs to be fixed before success arrives. Taking responsibility is the Number 1 step, looking in the mirror is Number 2 and Step Number 3 would be tons of personal development. I recommend Jim Rohn and lots of him.
When you're cool with that process then you can take a look at your marketing strategies, your company, your comp plan, your business plan and see with clearer eyes what else is not working for you.
So what was your biggest excuse and have you resolved it? WARNING: When you do this (look in the mirror) you'll get scared because there will be things that need to be changed and that's getting out of your comfort zone.
Just ask me. I know.

You are so right Adil. I think my biggest ah ah moment was when I realized I was exactly where I was because of decisions I had made. I didn't have to buy, take part in, do anything - it was a choice I made and therefore it was my responsibility.
Nobody else to blame but the person in the mirror.
To success,
Joyce

I completely agree with you, Adil. Personally, I think i've used about every excuse in the book and it never got me anywhere. After all, one can't expect to do the same thing evey time and get a different outcome.
