New Buisness, Limited Upline

Postby David Sallee on Sun May 22, 2011 6:56 am

Here is my situation, I am a first time Networker in a brand new buisness. The Upline is limited at best, imediate Upline is family ( reason for getting involved in first place ) We are wanting to give this the best chance it has. Does anyone know of some helpfull resources that would be perfect for some starters. Hopefully to gain some momentum, to help firm up this Upline. Thanks for any advice.

David,

First of All, welcome to The Better Networker Forum and The Best Of Luck with your new Business.

I might be biased, but the First Link on My Profile is How I attracted leads to my Business over 3 years ago and it was the catalyst to me leaving my DAY JOB within 14 Months, that and a combination of Link 3 on my profile.

I'd ll be glad to help in what ever way I can, I swear by this system myself. Hope this is of some help to you and look forward to Getting to Know you better.

Dave

Hey David,

Don't worry about your upline. Focus on educating yourself and putting in the necessary work. Yes, you may be new, but like any other industry and job profession there is a learning curve and required skillset beyond mlm product knowledge. As far as resources, I would recommend copywriting/sales courses and focusing on offline marketing strategies before online marketing unless you are tech savvy and lastly try to connect with other leaders in your company and ask them for advice and mentorship. However, if they are too busy, offer to help them with their workload in order to get some of their time. PM me for recommended resources.

Welcome David!
Art is right.
When I started out with my upline, we were both new at this business. She had just moved to the area and still new. We met with the nearby affliate and learned from them. We went to their conventions and meetings in their areas and met some of the top leaders in the business. Somehow we were all under the same downline.
It has been an educational experience ever since.
If your present upline is unable to assist in your training, find another affliate in your field and learn from them.
Your present upline may not know everything, but you may just past them in finding the training you need to succeed.
Good luck!

Before doing anything. Find a mentor that is already successful. It does not have to be your upline.

Hey David,

Welcome to the forum! The best advice I could give you is to do your research on the best marketing techniques out there. Lucky for all of us, this is why forums like the Better Networker were created. Going out there and cold calling are definitely not the smart ways of doing it. This I know for sure, trust me, i've done it and it's not fun. Also, your "warm market" (friends/family) will expire in a few months if not weeks so that doesn't necessarily work either. I found a program that has helped me generate numerous leads in a few months basically on auto-pilot ALL from the comfort of my own home through the internet and social media (facebook, twitter, tumbler, etc). I HIGHLY recommend it. It LITERALLY walks you step-by-step on everything you need to know to start generating leads and we all know LEADS = $$$$. Take a look at it, i'm positive you will not be dissappointed.

Best of luck with your new business and I hope this post helps you out!

There are some interesting replies in this thread ,some I agree with others I don't. I think its equally important when starting out to Educate yourself first, then help your team, so that they learn to be Successfull.

Building a Network is Like Building a Football ( OR soccer : 0) team you would want to build it in your Image so that you can guarantee success, but also make sure that you find a Good mentor to follow, one who PREFERABLY either has done it, OR is Following someone doing it and has those 8 Successfull traits.

One thing I have found for certain, is that the 8 Steps to Success, when combined with the readings in

'THE SCIENCE OF GETTING RICH' ensure your Success, provided you do follow that.It works for me DAILY.

I just learned something new, David.
Find a program that works for you. When you get proficient with that program, you can then put it on your auto-responder to run itself.
Until you find that system that works for you, don't waste your money yet on an autoresponder system. You wll not have a system in place that has proven to you that it works.
Doing the same things over and over again will not give you different results.

Now I find that havign an autoresponder works really well, especially if you have more than say 10 people in it. I invested in one ALMOST straight away and its been a god send, from the OFF.

Applied Knowledge is THE difference.
