How to automate social media posts

Postby jacov gariani on Sun Aug 28, 2011 8:40 pm

Hi,
I know that most of us these days are advertising via social media more than other channels.
I know it can be a real time consumer - so I search for ways to automate my efforts.
I found LaterBro which is free and really great to schedule more than one post to be recurring.
Did anyone find other services like this?
May be to post to groups and not only statuses?
Thanks

absolutely yes Jacov its very important to do what you can to stream-line your process! Whether someone used the one you recommend or Tweetadder or a unending list of products out there, is actually personal preference. use what works for you!

Hootsuite.com does the mail social media sites and if you set it up right it can be used on a additional 50+ other sitres.

AMEX has an app called "Your Buzz" which I use too.

I pre-write my posts and get up in the morning and post my posts into hootsuit and let it go for the rest of the day only takes less than 10 min.

Then each morn I respond to my messages and cooments.

Hey Jacov!

Tweetdeck is pretty good and does the job for me..

It allows me to update 1 FB account, and lots of twitter accounts at once. It also allows you to VIEW and comment/reply all the accounts in one place also.

I've heard Hootsuite is pretty good - though I haven't used it much.

Good luck my friend :D

Hi Jacov!
I tend to use and alternate between Tweetdeck and Hootsuite when I want to LEVERAGE my time.

I don't totally rely on these services but it helps keep my content in a state of FLOW. Use of these services depends on your outcome and your personality.

Linda, Luke & Chris are SPOT ON as far as using them to streamline your social media content.

You gotta find the SWEET spot for you. Know what each service can do for you and see how you can use it to leverage your time and content.

Love the fact that Chris talked about keeping the human element in the mix. That's also important for me. Use automated processes to post content but also add the human touch to stay connect with your followers, viewers!

People want to know that you're real and not hiding behind technology.
Again ask yourself, what's my OUTCOME?

Personally it's a way to put yourself out there so people get to Know, Like and Trust You.

Try buzzify then for twitter, I have used tweetadder and been great for scheduling and you can really save a lot of time. Hope this helps.

tweet adder does not work with the new twitter,

Try to not automate this type of stuff.

That's what most people do, and they are the one's who are ruining it for the rest of us.

Always test 3x and this is what I learned from Courtney Houde and some of the top earners. Not all internet marketers are experiencing the same results.

I look at the Twitter timeline and it's pitch after pitch after pitch.

When looking at followers on Twitter, I see some people who have 5 different Twitter accounts, all of which are spitting out the same automated Tweets.

It's amazing that Twitter doesn't ban more accounts.

Have to agree with David here. Some users just don't know how to use twitter. They always pitch and pitch. There has to be a rule here. For example, you only promote once every 5-7 tweets. The rest of your tweets there would be to provide value to your followers. You can use tools like tweetadder as I' ve said to automate your tweets BUT here's the thing.... Once somebody starts to interact with you, you need to personally communicate them on a personal level. Because technology and automation is just half the equation. The other half is the personal touch.
