There is no ninja trick to this, its about knowing your target-market and writing about what they want to read!

When I first started out in Network Marketing or what in the "old days" we called multi-level-marketing, now shortened to MLM, it was tapes and book that gave us the knowledge we needed and helped us with our Personal Development.

Now we have so many other sources. And you are asking why is she bringing those things up? Because it is only through experience and filling yourself up with things that you read or listen to that you can give out things that will be helpful and meaningful to others. Of course the other element, is that you must apply.

So if I want to offer a new trick on how to bring people to my blog, I must first read from others, apply what I have learned, then from my own experience share what I have learned. This is really all there is to it, and I am sure many great and learned contributions will come after this.

I have to say something about your own company. And this is in general, not one company. Everyone here is already in a company so most won't click on your company link. But... if you offer them real value of things you have learned and applied and found to work, especially How to's, then you will have people that want to know more about you!

I use to work for a big info marketer that most of us would know if I mentioned his name. One of the things he would tell us in dig deep into our subject (for many of us network marketing) so we need to read book, magazine, etc.. get our hand on as much info as we can and put it into our own words.

This is all that most info marketers do anyway he came out with a realestate program where he bought those idiots and dummies book re-wrote it into his own words changed the formate from a book to a DVD set and in 6 month turned into $1.5 M.

If you are focusing on your products then learn all you can about health, travel, or what ever subject that your company is involved in.

This is an awesome thread, with some great content, despite its ( current) short length, I am sure that will change!

Lynda's point is valid, meaningful content will always attract People to you, it works off & online & that is how you will earn your money online. Let me explain further...

All the Big Boys, have newsletters, which provide content which is attractive, meaningful & helps people, not only that, Online people want that, as oppposed to the so called 'money games' which for a short while, will provide you with a short term fix and advertising revenue, but long term its the Information which will provide you with Wealth & Financial Security....

So when blogging, try to use meaningful attractive Content & people will come to you

Thanks Dave and Chris! Its also a great idea to make sure you have some knowledge about the topic. Its going to be obvious when you quote verbatim someone else!

Its tempting but generally giving someone a quick point with a link going to your sales page really doesn't capture people unless you have already created such value that you can get away with that. That may actually be a challenge because you want to generate money right away. The rule that actually works best is give and then you will receive!

This is a Great Thread, the Last point on Lyndas post is actually true, Give & then Receive, which is generally how life works ( there is a saying its a two Way street & this emphasises it).

If you priovide infocational Content, people will always look to you, as a Source who knows what they are talking about, in much the same way people go to the Police, for advice on Law, People will come to you for advice on SM/Network Marketing... Which is far better than just saying 'here I am'

I like your word infocational We have to be a source, but not always give it all. What is cool is they come to you and you never have to chase!

I so agreee here Chris, every time I go to a webinar, and I do it weekly, or I read another blog, or watch another video I pick up something, its important to be constantly educating ourselves further. I also read something last night, from a newsletter quoting Michael S. Clouse, "Learn Your Core Product Line

Study one core product per day, until you understand all the benefits! And remember the old adage: facts tell, stories sell. Therefore, make sure you've mastered two or three great stories for every product you offer."

Then I have to say it don't think all you have to do is write about your company and products, you have to find out what people want to know then you write specifically about that and then content will be meaningful for more people!

Really what I think is that, many people getting into MLM usually puts the cart before the horse. Everyone is after the gains. Really the gains matters alot, but building a team or a network of people, should be the best, people who have read from you and see you as a leader. So whenever you introduce a program to them, they are fast to get it
