Friends of BN,
Want to pose this question tonight. I have recently become involved in a separate, but equally important business that parallels my original home business. Am I out of my mind? I am all about trying to have focus in anything that you do in order to succeed. I do not want to get distracted, but I am trying to give equal amounts of time to both.
Do any of you have this same issue?
I know that there are lots of people doing personal info products in addition to your main home business that you run, but I am not talking about that specifically. However, this is a group that I think could relate. Any comments would be awesome. Take care.

Hey Tim my initial response is:
NO WAY! NO WAY! NO WAY!
However I don't know enough about this other opportunity you have looked at, nor do I know whether you have already tapped out your existing business.
If you haven't exploded your first opportunity, I personally, would STRONGLY advise against having a go at a second one. Why would you want to spread your focus like that??
It's like that good ol' K.I.S.S. principle.. which is so important.
Keep It Simple Stupid!
Hope this helps Tim!

Luke My Man,
I LOVE IT! and completely agree with the K.I.S.S. philosophy....except that both are doing really well. I am not going to disclose specifically what I'm doing because that is not the intent of this post. I was just wondering if others have experienced the same emotional rollercoaster that I'm currently on. Again man, greatly appreciate your feedback. Hope all is going well for you.

Work on a funded proposal, work one opportunity but develop more than one income stream. You should make something even if the prospect don't join your primary opportunity.

Funded proposals are key. Good thing that I'm rockin' on that front. Appreciate the comment.

I do have to agree with the funded proposal. Your customers will buy from you whether they are customers of your primary business.
Do not have a conflicting business with your primary business. You may be kicked out of one or both businesses.
Find out what picque other interests to promote to go along with your primary business.

I have heard a lot of people go back and forth about this. I have one Primary, one system, and possibly other streams (affiliates) Maybe you can pull it off, I don't believe its something you can do.
What I see happening is then we will be making decisions for our prospects which they will best fit. Then later they are going to find out that you made a decision for them, now just ask yourself, how would you feel if someone decided for you what you would fit? I wouldn't like that, the whole reason for being in a business like ours is to have passion and faith in it, so I throw one back at you:
Can you truly be totally committed "All In" and Passionate about two or more completely different businesses? (I can't and I am being honest)

It depends really on how well the main business is doing first before starting another. A friend of mine has four up and running with no problems. The key is to have one virtually running on auto pilot before expanding.
If your not at that point yet wait so you can focus when you are. It'll make life so much easier so you can concentrate so much more on the new one while your primary business carries on in the background.
