I just read this from my inbox. Got this letter from Magnetic Sponsoring, and its the same technique and principle that I'm current following.

1. Study "old school" direct-response marketing.
(Mail order advertising is a fantastic resource for Internet Marketers.)

2. Master one traffic generating skill like: SEO, PPC, Banners, Mobile, etc.
(Because when it all boils down this is a numbers game.)

3. Start a personal blog or website.
(This will be your "home base" online.)

4. Use "front-end" product such as Magnetic Sponsoring, MLSP, PriorityTeam.com, or YourDreamsForFree.com
(If you've read Magnetic Sponsoring then you know this as a "funded proposal". When you get this right you're literally getting paid to build and advertise your business! Because your advertising makes you a profit from day one.)

5. Build a more expensive "back-end" product.
(A more expensive product you can sell to your buyers which is your primary MLM Opportunity)

My top 5 ONLINE marketing tips (off the top of my head) for networkers are:

1. Become an EXPERT at 1 strategy first (SEO, PPC, Social media with video) rather than trying to learn everything.
2. Remember this is a business of relationships. You need to work this into your strategy somehow. Blogs are excellent. (spamming links in Facebook is going to get you nowhere)
3. Provide genuine GOOD VALUE to people.
4. Create a DMO (Daily Method of Operation) which you follow consistently and for long enough (a number of weeks) so you can see actual results. This will also protect you from OVERWHELM.
5. Always continue to build your email list! This is your greatest asset!

It's all about relationship, though you can not see people in social media physically but you can still communicate and develop relationship with them. In any business, relationship must comes first before business.

Well Close the sale is not a marketing tip but rather the product of "marketing"

(1)Now marketing hmmmm I like to use Google Trends
Find a popular topic preferably (3) in the hour, post articles on your blog about these topics and let the traffic pour in . This strategy is great for a good 400 to 500 visitors alone (Branding at it's finest)

(2)Utilize social networking: Now we compliment Google trends by implementing a Google +1 or Facebook Like Button into the content of these articles... (think about it, the number 2 current hot topic is republican presidential candidates) Now if you write an article that intrigues your audience with controversy such as how these candidates will Trump Obama in the 2012 election, or how these candidates are simply ploys in the scheme of things you are bound to get quite a few Facebook likes. Remember spin the content so it's controversial and VIRAL MARKETING WILL KICK IN....

(3)Make sure your content beyond these articles (Business/Opportunity Content) can substantiate the boost in the economy by ways of starting an online business, or how starting an online business can provide a level of immunity to the current economic debacle and how Washington cannot provide a solution BUT YOU CAN... again a great spin...Creates awareness and this is important

(4)Utilize RSS - this is so overlooked and mis-understood by the masses, and many marketers alike, though it doesn't sound nearly as sexy as some of the new cutting edge marketing systems it certainly gets the job done. By syndicating your content via RSS you are multiplying yourself across other sites and news reeders ... Definitely a NO BRAINER and again something we cannot overlook

(5) SEO ... now SEO seems to be the most intimidating aspect of online business and marketing, everyone has a love affair with backlinks and anchor text links (if you do not know what anchor text is google it) Now I have hundreds of different ways ot getting backlinks but the simplest of the group is a link exhange but not the cheesy ones we all get exposed to. Take a look at voltrank.com and submit your site. There is a wordpress plugin that makes integration easy, as this is a great starting point for building back links ....

I will add that SEO and Marketing is my thing, I live and breath this stuff, so a bit of caution as with this list and any list before and after this post ... 5 online marketing tactics JUST WONT CUT it in the full scope of things .... Get creative do your research, yes it takes years, took me 10, but the power that comes with this KNOWLEDGE IS INCREDIBLE ... As I have an arrogant side to me knowing I can manipulate search results at will ... You too will feel the same way once you have the entire scope of what ONLINE MARKETING IS....

BONUS 6 marketing technique... Youtube marketing.... a super easy way to get your brand out there...
Step 1 . Go to Break.com ---> Just Submitted ---> you will see some funny videos, make your choice... I personally like the video Caroline Wozniacki imitates Rafael Nadals Cramp...
Step 2 . Go to clipnabber.com to download this video
Step 3 . Use video editing software like Camtasia Studio to insert your logo or INTRO/OUTRO
Step 4 . Upload to Youtube using keyword rich title and description ... in this case we will use Caroline Wozniaki, Rafael Nadal, and Cramp

POST .... and let the VIEWS SOAR.... I use this tactic to get 3,000 to 5,000 views per day...AGAIN GREAT FOR BRANDING and getting residual traffic to your site ... Free traffic equals FREE LEADS, leads equals INCREASED POTENTIAL FOR SALES... witch equals MORE MONEY

Emeril, I love your list. I have never mined break.com before. Thanks for the tip.
I agree, RSS feeds are powerful. I like to use Yahoo pipes to mash my RSS feeds and to syndicate all my RSS feeds (single and mashed) from all my venues (ezine, squidoo, etc...)
