Craigslist Question
How often can I post on Craigslist using Craigslist adtracker. Does it matter what city I post in?

Re: Craigslist Question
If you are using Craigslist to promote any Network marketing or Affilliate business they will not allow this and will close your account so be very careful.

Re: Craigslist Question
You are pretty safe at posting 1 per day on Craigslist. If you create a good ad, you can get 5-10 leads a day. I was promoting a MLM and had two accounts with CL and I would just alternate the accounts posting one post a day.
Recently I started promoting an affiliate product and decided to get a little more aggressive. Each time I have tried to post 4 ads in one day, the 4th ad I get asked to do the phone confirmation and my 4th ad is ghosted. I was able to do about 3 ads a day for a few days and now almost all my new ads are ghosted, but I can renew my current ads no problem.
Nothing to prove this, but one mistake I did is not staying in the same area. Mornings I was posting on the east coast, mid-day central US, and night on the west coast. When I started to do this, my ads started to get ghosted. So it is not only the times you post per day, but also the location. So don't jump from place to place. Stay in the general same area, but not in the same city. You can move form place to place, but keep all your ads in the same area for a little while. For example don't post one ad in New York and the next ad in Los Angeles.
Also delete your old post. I try to keep only 4 active ads on CL at one time. I do use the renew and repost ads, I think CL Likes this because it means you are staying in one area.
If your ad is flagged and deleted then wait before you post again. Do not immediately go and post again. Most of my ads that were flagged were for the headlines. So I now look at the headlines that are current in the cities that are still up after one day. One example of one ad: "Earn $500-$800 Per Week", this type of ad will get a lot of views, but now it will be flagged and deleted in most cities.
This is something personal, but if you are posting in the job section do not take them to a hypey capture page. This will get your ad flagged and deleted. I use a very simple HTML/Text Capture page. Very basic and dull, but it seems to work pretty well.
Also I started using Backpage again. I am getting about the same amount of leads from Backpage as Craigslist a day. Backpage requires posting in all the major cities several times a day. I try to post in about 50 cities three times a day, I am using a autoposter so it takes about 15-20 minutes to enter the captchas each round of posts.
I can get more creative with my headlines on Backpage, but generally the same headlines works on Backpage. I still use like I am posting a job in the Business Opportunities. You stand out like that on BP, a lot of hypey ads on BP.
If I choose only one, it would be Craigslist by far. However, Backpage is worth trying if you are willing to buy an autoposter. I use BP Bot Pro about $100. Unless you have a lot of time (about 3 hours a day of manually posting them).
I have made a few sales on both CL and BP.
