I now that the biggest challenge in any online business is to get traffic to you site/product/offer etc.

How I solved this problem for myself was by finding a group of people that were making a six figure income online and learning how to market my products the same way that they are. They even offer free training to get a person started on the right foot. See below for access.

Thank you Ken, Many people struggle with leads and that is probably the easiest thing. Mentor's are the way to go even with a course it is nice to have a real person that is making the money that you want guiding you along the way!

Finding motivated people to work this is why I mostly focus on small business owners they know how to run a business and are not afraid of spending money.

Focusing on home based business people sound more fun but I find a lot don't produce at least for me.

That is true Chris, many home based business seekers don't really want to work. So many of them think that you can just sign up and the money rolls in. They have seen so many ads saying just that.

Took me years to realize what Frank Kern is saying in his 2012 Internet Address: Internet Marketing is using the internet to deliver the right message about an excellent product to the right people at the right time.

The product(s) are where the money is at, not the marketing, and I spent years marketing without taking them to the product.

Dumb huh !

Many marketers fail to give a good call to action and many fail to call at all! LOL You must include a good call to action in every piece of content you put out on the internet. If you want them to go to your blog, a capture page or opt-in you have to spell it out for them and lead them by the hand.

Joyce

I'm afraid that I don't agree with you on that, and not to say that you are wrong. What I am saying is the product that you sell does not matter in the least.

I can take a bad product and sell it(not that I would), but to get people to see your product you have to market that product in the right way. I am truly sorry for you that someone did not show you how to get your people to the product with your marketing.

Not having the right training has caused more people to give up on their dreams of making money online then almost any other cause. That and there not taking the knowledge and using it.

That is why mentors are so important to our success. The people that I am with have a private community that is there to help people when they have a problem. We also have master mind groups that work together to help each other. I have never come across any other program that has the help and support that this one does.

Yes Ken, I would agree that you can sell bad products if you know how to market effectively. That is why I use a system. For years I struggled with the same problems. Trying to get leads, traffic and sales it seemed like it was out of my reach. After years of studying and working I started making progress then in 2009 I found the system that has changed my business and my life! Not only is there branded capture pages but there are hundred of hours of training on every kind of online marketing so you can see what resonates with your style and then you can start marketing and making the money you want in your business. I wrote an article about it check it out, http://www.betternetworker.com/articles ... pro-review

What has been and is my biggest challenge is, sorting through all this hoopla with online marketing or the new school way of marketing only.

I am seriously considering going back to what used to work for me, "old school marketing,".

That's right I said it, that curse-ed word, old school marketing

Almost every where you turn now days on the Internet some online marketer is shooting down old school marketing methods.

Man I moved more product the old school way of marketing and I don't even like to sale. And why, because of the product.

In 1996 I sold a weight loss product called New Image. The company did over $100 million dollars in 5/6 because of the product and the Internet was not even being used. Plus we only had that one product.

Another venture I did was, Pre Paid Legal, I did old school marketing, yep the old three foot rule, mama, daddy, sister brother andd neighbor, many said no, yet I still sold the product to people.

Lastly Was Watkins, again I did it old school and was able to move/sale the product.

Now admittedly, I didn't have much luck sponsoring, mainly because I just did not have enough time to really try to recruit and train others effectively.

So, I came online in 2007/2008 mainly hoping to try and streamline my marketing and find more leads faster and sort through them, and hoping to find the cream of the crop to join my business.

Man in the last few years with all this branding and giving value stuff I am more :? then when I first began.

I beginning to think we online marketer's are being sold a bill of goods, B.S. goods mind you.

Anyway, I know some of the YOU inc marketer's are resorting back to old school methods, if they ever left them in the first place, yet they are selling the online/new school stuff to the uniformed.

Marketing is getting your message out better than the other guy. Online, offline, sideline, in and out of line.
