I was on a coaching call the other day, and the student asked me, "What is a funded proposal"
So I decided to make a short simple video to show her.
I figured it would many out as well!

Re: What the Heck Are Funded Proposals
Hello Sir Jeremy,
A lot of marketer's think funded proposals are new to marketing, because you here it mentioned so much.
In reality marketer's have been using funded proposals fro years, way before the Internet Era.
I was in a few myself.
We used a direct mail postcard or classified ads that offered a cassette tape talking about "the secret to making big money in NWM." That might not be the title, it's been a while. The post card ask the person who received it to send $3 in order to get the cassette tape. Actually you had to fill out the card with your contact info too.
Remember, many moons ago, postage was a lot cheaper, so although $3 doesn't seem like much, it could help offset your marketing expense.
Also, I remember a few marketers who were promoting a big name MLM and that had put together a funded proposal package consisting of a cassette tape, a booklet on the company, it's products, and they also threw in a few sample products. You had to spend $9.95 if you wanted that information.
They to ran ads and used direct mail promotions with 800#.
Lastly, Just a few years back, I saw a commercial of a product called income from home. It too was a funded proposal. It cost $39.95 to get it, but you could pay $9.95 down and after you got the package, you would pay the rest if you didn't mail it back.
I ordered the package for $9.95, but man was I disappointed, the material was very generic, and all's it talked about was how much money people were making in the company, which I might add was not even mentioned in the material. I later saw another commercial of theirs and way down at the bottom of the TV page, in very small letters, it said, this is produced by a herbal Life distributor.
I hurried up and sent that mess back. I was like damn, yall are asking for $39.95 and you don't even mention the damn company, it's products or comp plan in your marketing. that's some bull!
Oh I guess when you get your phone consultation, that's when you get more freakin details. I was on the phone for 45 minutes with a guy explaining everything, I thought hell to the naw, this isn't for me, GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK sucker.
If you do a funded proposal folks, make sure it is top notch so people won't mind paying for it.
And yep, those marketer's are still running that commercial, guess a sucker is born every minute.

Funded proposals can make all the difference between getting no results, and getting top results. It is because of funded proposals that many guys and girls have been able to breakthrough and achieve success.
